A nice simple story that worked well for this
I bought this book to teach my year 1 french class the colours. A nice simple story that worked well for this. They liked already knowing the character of Elmer.

Strong colourful board book
My reception and year one French club children love this book. I've been using it with the topic of colours and it's great because they are already familiar with the English version of the Elmer stories. This chunky board book is sturdy enough to survive being passed around all the children multiple times!
