46mm UV Lens Filter (Plus)

This Urth 67 mm UV Lens Filter feels like an easy yes if you care about protecting your lenses. For me, a good quality filter is non-negotiable. This one is slim and fits nicely without causing any vignetting, and it does not seem to affect image quality at all, which is exactly what I want from a UV filter. The glass and coating feel high quality, and it gives me a lot more confidence when I am shooting outside or tossing my camera into a bag. For the price, it is absolutely worth it to protect both the lens and the investment behind it.

Fits great and loved the protective case it came in.

Working very well on my RF 70-200mm L lens. That lens was expensive and I wanted a nice filter to protect against light bumps and scratches. I spent 20 minutes doing before/after tests and could find no negative impact to image quality or flare, even shooting directly into lights. Filter is nice and slim with a minimalist look (very little writing on filter). It has a high quality feel. I would say this is a top quality filter worthy of use on professional lenses. I was impressed enough that I just ordered another for my 24-105L. I have Hoya HMC and B+W MRC 010 for other lenses, and the Urth+ is at least as good if not better. Plus I get to support environmental efforts with Urth. Note: The code to plant the trees on the box flap says to go to Urth website to enter code, but the site says "coming soon". I was able to enter code on the MyGobe website. I guess their rebranding isn't fully complete yet.

The Urth UV filter is slim and thoughfully designed. The subtle but effective knurling extends all the way around the perimeter, making it easier to tighten and un-tighten than some competing filters with only partially knurled or scalloped edges. The Urth + filter is a bit more expensive than typical budget filters, but performs very well.

I always have trepidation when I order photographic products from Amazon. I ordered a new camera, it was shipped as an open box. I ordered these filters for some new lenses...I always put a UV filter on a new lens as soon as it's out of the box. Cheaper to scratch or crack a UV filter than scratch a lens. This filter has a clarity and sharpness I hadn't seen before in many other filter brands I've tried over the years. And more importantly, they offer good value. And it did ship 'factory fresh'! Perfect. If you're needing a UV filter this is the way to go.

I really like the Urth Plus+ UV filters, bang for the buck is high! The $60 Urth Plus+ is German Glass, ultra-slim and it has 30 layers of coatings, what else could you ask for. I use UV filters on all of my Nikon Lens, mainly for protection and keeping the front element clean for the longterm.

I bought this filter because I don't believe in putting cheap $10 filters on $1000 lenses. Other reviewers complained about "significant dust" on the filter upon receiving it. They are telling the truth. The filter comes in a typical plastic protective case. But, like others said, the filter was coated with heavy dust on both sides. Serious lack of quality control. It took me a good 30 minutes to effectively clean the filter. Once cleaned, it works great, but for the price, it shouldn't arrive coated in dust.

I wanted more of a lens protector than a UV filter and this definitely is built very sturdy and well worth it. The glass looks clear and I feel like my lens is well protected now.

Put onto the OM 300MM4f pro. Works great and i see no degradation to the images.

The lens filter arrived promptly and gave the result I was hoping for. I was previously getting a grainy boca when taking my long range wildlife shots and suspected it was the cheaper UV lens filter I was using. On changing over to this Lens hey presto - the grainy boca disappeared - See images: BEFORE is the Deer AFTER is the Heron. This has greatly improved my image quality and highly recommend this product.
