It works to digest the protein I eat
I have gastroparesis and therefore do not digest my food. This appears to have ease by symptoms quite a lot.

Helps with heartburn/acid reflux
Hubby loves spicy food, but his tummy doesn't. I got these for him to try instead of using Tums. They are helping. While he still uses Tums, it's not nearly as often! I think his digestion is improving.

It works with your digestive system.
So far so good. But don't ever fall asleep or nod off without sitting up. I made that mistake due to exhaustion and the acid reflux was painful. I took a magnesium caps I le and the burn subsided pretty quickly. Yes it definitely does increase stomach acid. Improved my digestion. Play around with the dosage to find your sweet spot. If they could offer ox bile or tudca with no cheap fillers it would be a great combination. I really like this company because they don't use cheap fillers.

No additives or fillers
I loved this HCL For it was pure, and had no additives or fillers like rice, magnesium, etc. it’s pure and 100% HCL and I finally found one like this product with the fair price as well!

Works as well as some higher priced HCLs
If you are taking HCL to help digest your food this works as well as some higher priced products. This HCL does not have pepsin in it though. My husband can't handle much pepsin. I need more pepsin so I take a different brand. It's a good value for the money and easy to swallow.

This is betaine HCl without pepsin. Just what I needed. Was delivered on time.

Had to stop taking
They didn’t work for me, I tried them for a few days followed instructions and made me go to the bathroom and didn’t help with my acid reflux. I read reviews that it helped others so it may just be me,
