Great little heavy cream turner to make butter ๐
Nothing better than making your own butter. Add some salt and stick it in the fridge. This little churn works perfectly but does take a little bit of effort to do it. Worth the price considering plug in options.

It is easy to make butter.
This butter churn is really well made. I've bought others of similar size, shape and method of operating and none of them could churn the butter as it thickened. This one was my "last" attempt at getting a compact butter churn and I was thankfully surprised. The part on the earlier purchased churns that failed was the gears that drive the paddle, all the other churns had cheap, loose gears that would slip causing the paddle to stop as the butter thickened. This churn is so well constructed of better materials and heavier gears that it effortlessly mixed the butter and never once slipped or failed. It takes about 7 to 8 minutes to churn about 1/2 lb of butter and it's awesome. I highly recommend this churn.

Broke after 2 uses
I used this twice. And it does a great job but on the second time using it got stuck & wouldnโt turn forward. I tried to work it loose & it chipped the jar. $37 for 2 uses is a rip off. Definitely would not recommend

Works well!!!
This actually worked and made great butter. We now experience using different kinds of natural and organic milks creating slightly different butter taste and adding herbs. For various types of butter nothing worth the time it takes and the long churning time

Pretty decent
It's a pretty decent little butter churn. Using heavy whipping cream, I was able to make butter in about 5-10 minutes. Super simple. Downside I see is that the metal seems a bit cheaper, but I also don't see it rusting. No metal flaked off, nothing like that. You also can't fill it too full, otherwise if you're cranking it fast, whatever cream you are using may spill a little bit around the top of the lid, near the gears (not a big deal, it's not a flaw, it's just that that means it may be filled a bit too full).For the quality of it, I do consider it a bit more expensive than it needs to be, but it works well and is a cheaper option, so there is that.Mine did NOT come broken, it was completely fine. It also comes with something to set the jar on to keep it from sliding. I haven't used it yet, we took the handle off, attached a drill and set the speed, and duct taped the trigger on it to save our hands ๐

I really love the concept of this butter churn. If you've never had freshly churned butter, you're really missing out. It's so much better that store bought butter.The first churn I ordered came broken. The glass container was shattered. That wasn't the sellers fault, it was Amazons. The box with the churn was placed inside of a much larger box with other items and no packing it dunnage was put in the box to absorb shocks of shifting it contents. Amazon promptly replaces with another that arrived in perfect condition.Here's the cream to butter ratio. 20 oz of heavy whipping cream from the box box store that starts with W will net you about 8 oz of butter and 12 oz of buttermilk. Use the buttermilk for pancakes or biscuits, ranch dressing, etc.I used the Aeaker Butter Churner for the first time last night. I ran into problems within the first two minutes. The churner gear mechanism initially operated quite smoothly. The cream converted to beautiful whipped cream within 1ยฝ minutes of churning. Yeah, this churn will make amazing whipped cream fast. But in this 1ยฝ minutes the hand crank became almost impossible to turn. I removed the top to see if butter had formed already and was causing the resistance I was feeling. It was not. All the resistance was within the pinion gear and shaft that runs through the top of the lid to the paddle. I looked into the jar just to double check that no butter had formed and what I saw was super disappointing. There were lots of granular bits that looked like super finely ground black pepper. I've included photos. I don't know if there is an o-ring sealing the shaft through the lid. If there is, then this one had fails as a lot of milk came through the shaft guide and appeared just below the pinion gear. If this material wasn't ground up o-ring or plastic bushing, then it could be metal. In any case, it contaminated the contents and cause me to have to toss the contents. After quite a bit of carefully warming the paddle shaft enough to soften food grade grease so it would flow into the shaft guide, the curb started to finally rotate freely enough to continue churning this batch. I continued because I didn't want to simply give up on the churning, rather I wanted to complete the process to get a good time scale of the process from initially pouring the cream into the churner jar to extracting entrained buttermilk to rinsing, to cleaning churner and prepping for it's next use.This churn will make butter quickly and the result is incredibly tasty. Delicious, top quality and fresh butter. Yes, I did taste a very small amount of this batch, maybe โ th of a teaspoon. It took about 18 minutes to complete the batch. This includes probably more than 10 minutes of trying to loosen up the mechanism. In total, about 3 minutes to fully separated butter and buttermilk, 4 minutes to rinse out entrained buttermilk and 1 minute to pack and mold. Done. A large batch of what would have been top quality, super fresh butter had it not been for the contamination.I chose this churn over the others because of the way it's constructed. The only "plastic" in this churn is the silicone seal for the lid to jar connection. Everything else is wood, metal or glass.We used to make butter in very small batches by shaking cream in a jar, maybe making 2 oz of butter at a time. This Aeaker Butter Churner will produce 4 times as much butter in half the time, maybe even less time. It's a great value for the price and because of the heavy duty construction, it's made to last.I'll be contacting Aeaker directly to determine if there is an o-ring or seal in the shar guide that may have failed, or what has failed to cause my first batch of butter to become contaminated. Hopefully, they can provide the solution because this churner is AWESOME! And it's so stout and well made, it'll last for years.I'll add an edit to this review with the final outcome and change my rating based of the resolution.

Awesome quality product!
Making butter by hand has never been easier. Quality is A+. I took the hand crank off and attached it to my drill. You've got to hold the jar really tight when you start the churn. It takes just a few minutes to have fresh butter and buttermilk. Highly recommend! ๐ง

Low Quality
It worked fine for a short time but the gears all piled up soon after buying it. The gears are only aluminum or some other soft metal and they don't last long. For the price I expected much more.

length of handle might be a touch short.
While this churner works great, the handle could extend a smidge further from the jar for ease of rotation. I have large knuckles and they seem to hit the side/top of the jar if I am not careful.
