Crystal clear
I bought this to use in a wizards staff. The ball is great, crystal clear so it looks like glass, perfect for what I wanted.

Not ideal for beginners
As a beginner, I found it very heavy compared to other options and therefore have dropped it several times. Once it hit the edge of my bed and now has a small indent where it was knocked.
