I am the owner of a fitness boot camp. I am always on the lookout for new equipment to add to the mix and I've wanted to add leg weights for quite some time. I bought 1 pair of these on Amazon for around 25 with shipping but Target sells this exact same product online for less than 20 with free shipping so I bought another 7 pairs from Target for obvious reasons.These ankle/wrist weights ended up being a HUGE hit with the clients I work with! I tend to focus more of core moves using these weights with clients such as opposite arm/leg lifts, leg raises, straight leg holds and supermans. Even the most fit and experienced clients I work with found it challenging to strap these weights on to their ankles and do three rounds of straight leg holds for 30 seconds. In my professional opinion, I feel that adding these weights to your routine would help you achieve your fitness goals.The clients and I LOVE the convenience of the quick and very secure Velcro attachment. I've even had some clients doing cardio moves like mountain climbers, high knees and even burpees wearing these. I can assure you that the attachment is VERY secure.I will only recommend products to you that I would use myself and I highly recommend this product!

These are the first ankle weights I've ever used and I love them! I like how you can take out some of the weights if you want, and I especially love that you can also wear these around your wrists if you want! I try to walk every night wearing these (usually 2 or more miles) and they are SO comfortable! (They're velcro so they're super easy to remove, but I've also never had a problem with them sliding or loosening whatsoever.) I've even recommended these to friends!

New to using ankle weights. My draw to this was the ability to adjust weights and increase as your tolerance does. So, you are essentially getting several weight sets for the price of one. For more advanced persons, who can use full wt on day 1, I'd say buy a higher wt one piece unit or this same design with higher base wt so you can also advance weight.BUT FOR US NEWBIES, EXCELLENT DESIGN. I took all 4 bars out & started at base wt of 1.5# each ankle. Iwill be able to add a bar to each side and go up to 2# each ankle; add 2nd bar and go up to 2.5# each ankle. Baby steps. Baby steps. I AM EXCITED FOR WHEN I CAN REINSERT MORE BARS & ADVANCE TO THE TOTAL WEIGHT OF 2.5# EACH ANKLE!

I haven't used these for wrist weights yet, but I love them as ankle weights. So easy to use and easy to put the additional weights in and take out. The velcro holds tight and they are comfortable...made with quality materials. Very easy to do leg lifts with these on. I'm using these for exercises post knee surgery.
