Great cage, but needs locking wheels!
Great cafe, but it’s assembly is kind of confusing. I guess it didn’t help that quite a few pieces of mine came bent. To make it even worse, the pieces that were bent were the 4 main pieces of the skirt. Out of the whole thing the skirt was the worse part to put together and having it bent made it much worse! Don’t get it twisted though, even if you get one and it’s 100% undamaged, you’ll probably still have to mess with the skirt to get it together. Besides that it’s a great cage. It’s fairly sturdy, nice to look at, easy to clean and it’s locking door mechanism is great. My only one complaint (other than the general design of the skirt area) is that they didn’t put locks on any of the wheels!? I don’t understand how that could be an oversight? Just about all items I’ve seen with coaster wheels have locks on 2 out of the 4 wheels so it blows my mind that this cage which carries a living being in it didn’t come with such a basic safety feature! Dumb mistake tbh. Other than that, it’s a fantastic cage and my cockatiel loves it!

Pretty good cage
I was skeptical to purchase this because of all the negative reviews. First things first I made sure I had all the parts and screws and that nothing was broken, damaged or missing. I did have a second pair of hands that made it so much more helpful. I have to say, yes the instructions suck but if you scroll down under product videos...Lary.G a previous customer has a great video of how to take the bird cage apart. It was very very helpful. That was my instructions and my gf and I put the cage together in about 1 hour. Pay attention to every piece how it looks and how it connects and goes together. Once the cage was put together my sun conure seemed to really like it. I have another cage similar to this one and thought it was a good cage. I haven't had it for long so I'm not sure how the door will withhold up but if anything happens to it I will put an update review. Over all so far so good 👍 I like how the bar space isn't to wide. I do agree that something like macaw probably could break the bars. They are not as thick or sturdy but they are perfect for my medium size parrot. This cage is to small for a macaw. I got the 68 inch.

Update to my earlier review.
This is an update to my original review for the 68" cage I ordered for my cockatiel. There had been issues with the first one that came in mail. When it arrived and unboxed, I quickly realized that it was going to take a lot of work to put together, not because it was overly complicated but because the instructions were the worst I have ever encountered in my life. A hand drawn treasure map by a child would of been more effective. It was on one page and written so small using photos that were impossible to see because of the size and lack of color. I had wondered if there was more to it missing. It took a lot more than it should have looking at images of the assembled product and using those to put it together. Once cage was nearly put together I realized that the two parts that hold the perch on the play top were missing, but the worst part was the fact that the hinge on the door was broken which I did not notice until I tried to close the door and it would not close. All that aside, I did contact them and after some confusion(on my part) they did send me a new cage and it arrived quickly. Much faster than the first. This one that was about 99% complete, only thing missing this time was a screw for the locking mechanism on the door, this I was able to get off the one with the missing parts and broken hinge. Although there were areas of the cage where bars are bent and things arent as sturdy and seem easy to break, I do like this cage. For the price it is a decent cage and very easy to clean. The perch on top is great, my cockatiel loves spending the mornings up there. The 68 in. cage is large enough for one or two medium sized birds to be happy, granted you dont have too many perches and toys inside (I think the spaces are way too large to risk putting my parakeets in). I can't imagine putting anything larger than a medium sized bird in it for any length of time. The image they have to show the size is pretty misleading. Its big but not that big. My female albino cockatiel is only 6 weeks old so not fully grown, she has plenty of space now, even with the various feeders in their we are using to figure out which she prefers, since she is not weaned. However my male cockatiel who is fully grown has just enough space to stretch out inside, but he prefers being in his old cage that was wider. The bowls that came with it are made so you don't have to stick your hand in cage to change food and water which is nice to have and you can take the holders out if you want to have more space. They are deep so smaller birds have trouble with them, but the ones for perch are smaller in depth fit in also so they work for smaller birds well. The trays do come out and the coating makes it simple to clean, the sides do also catch the seeds well, very few seeds end up on floor. It also looks good and the wheels work great. I do wish it was a little sturdier but for the price I cannot complain. Overall its a decent cage. Even though the first one was defective the second they sent as an replacement is good and they did well in quickly sending me another when I contacted them about the issues with the first.

Purchased to separate 2 birds - Great for a Quacker/Lovebird/ or Tiel
Originally my quaker parrot and blue crowned conure were a bonded pair. But due to my mother-in-law having to move in, and bring her Quaker parrot with her, the quaker began showing bonded aggression toward the Blue Crowned. This was no fault of the birds, but ours, by introducing a new family member both human and bird. Sometimes this happens--out of jealousy or stress. They began to fight constantly all day. The quaker turned vicious and I began to seriously worry about nipped toes and very bad wounds due to the quaker biting. I made a hard decision to purchase another cage to home the quaker separate, but beside the Blue crowned and needed a new cage in a pinch that I could afford (the original cage we housed them in was over $300 and I love my birds, but I am in so much debt up to my eyeballs I couldn't get another one at this price.) I ordered this for the price point, but am glad I did. It's a very tall cage with plenty of room for the quaker to spread his wings and climb all around. It also has a great play area on the top. It arrived in great condition, no dings or dents. The ONLY issue I have with this is that the food and water bowls are held in the cage not with a solid piece of metal, but a removable one that is sort of shaped like a square bracket, and that makes the water bowl tilt downward a little bit, making it impossible to fill it entirely. The instructions were a little vague, but if you have experience with bird cages, or putting together anything it eventually works out. We ended up with some extra screws too. RECOMMEND? Yes--especially if you are on a budget/part time or experiencing financial difficulties.

A really decent cage
I read allot of the reviews here before purchasing this cage. In my head, it was... ok if it doesn't work at least I tried it for the price point I'm getting it at... But the cage is lovely. The way the cage goes together, is like the cages in my local bird store, but already assembled. BUT I have a conure, who does not pull on cage sides, or chew on bars, or even who has the strength to disassemble something like this. For my bird, this cage works lovely, and the locking system is more than capable, with his last cage, he was able to open it. He's one smart cookie. With this he can't open the front, or the food doors. Things to take into account... The food dishes are on the right side, if you want to move them, buy different attaching dishes. There are small and large bowls, they can't be switched - the small bowls go on top and the large go inside the cage. The doors for the food and water close like they do so that a bird can't shake the bowl and take it out of the holder and make the food go everywhere (birds make food go everywhere as it is just eating normal, they're messy lovely creatures). There is no shelf, I knew this going in. The skirting isn't fantastic... price point taken into account. I'm not sure what is supposed to go on top of the top bar, but I'll hook something up eventually.

Cage is nice enough. Terrible instructions.
The cage isn't terrible, but I will say it was smaller in person than it appears in the photos. The photo next to the woman is misleading, in my opinion (photo attached). The woman in the photo must be awfully short and thin (or photoshopped) or the cage is enlarged next to her, because my conure is only 6 months old and she is WAY smaller than those birds on top but takes up just as much space. The good: Once I found good instructions online, it was 10x easier and relatively quick. (Took me 45 minutes alone) The cage is relatively sturdy, but I wouldn't put it somewhere kids will be running around. It looks like a more expensive cage. It shipped really quick. Ordered it on a Saturday evening, had it on Thursday afternoon (the first day of estimated arrival) The bad: Flimsy materials. It looks nice, but if you touch, it bends easily. TERRIBLE instructions. No joke. Look at the photo. (Says "collected" instead of "connected" in most places) Misleading photos in regard to size. For reference, my pineapple conure is 4-6 months old, and she's on the back of my cage. Food/water bowls are WAY too deep for the size of birds that would fit in here, and the perches are way too thick for them. I ordered new perches because my bird was having trouble gripping these ones as they're way too big around. There are 5-6 different sized screws and it doesn't explain which screws to use for each step?? The cage gets 3 stars because it shipped fast, it LOOKS relatively nice, and it works for now. Wish it was more sturdy, and a bit bigger in the actual cage area. But I'll definitely be upgrading within the year, so for the price it's not terrible. Better directions can be found online. (Different brand, but the pieces are exactly the same)

Buy this bird cage
Number 1. It’s solid wrought iron, not flimsy metal. It has trays around the cage that captures food ! It comes with 2 perches. It went together easily and quickly. This looks like a high end cage. I now have 2 of them and I’m so happy to have found for a good price. !

Get what you pay for
Edit 9-12-22-- This "company" is fraudulent in their cheap dangerous cage which is sized wrong. There is no way they aren't aware of it due to all the other complaints. What's worse is Amazon is allowing this and will not back their A-Z policy and make them pay for shipping on this defective item. And don't bother trying to work things out with "Lightning" because this fraud will try to talk you into selling this junk to friends and family. Listen to all of the 1 star reviews and go elsewhere, but regardless of what you do, understand Amazon will not help you. Edit 8-8-2022--- Upon further review, it wasn't just the flimsy sides that potentially caused the issue. As I was looking at the cage again since we still have a surviving sugar glider housed in it, I noticed gaps big enough to fit my fingers in on the front of the cage. These are above and below the door on the left AND right. I measured the gaps at .75 inches, with is obviously 1/4 inch bigger than the 1/2 inch space advertised for these cages and needed for the safety of my pets! I'm appalled and upset that these folks are still allowed to sell these cages with gaps that big. Im not the first buyer catching this! Imagine how my children feel now since one of the house cats killed our poor sugar glider after she escaped from this dangerous cage!! Ive obviously put in and was approved for a full refund and will never trust a cheap alternative when my family and pets are concerned!------end of edit Complete junk. There is a gap on the top of each side due to the sides of the cage not perfectly fitting which created a gap big enough to fit your finger through. There are holes to fit the side cage pieces together and they go too far into the holes creating the gap. Our new baby sugar glider escaped through it which ended in a tragic result. pay a little more for a sturdier and better built cage.

Decepcionada
El precio no lo vale, me llegó abollada de varias partes y no pude ponerle las ruedas porque faltaron bases de goma para introducirla! El estilo si es bonito pero me hubiera gustado que fuera más grande

It’s not practical for a large bird like a parrot.
It’s easy to clean. It not sturdy enough and the gage of metal shouldn’t been higher. My African Grey opens all the doors. He takes the feeding bowls along with the holder for the feeding bowls and tosses them. It’s the worst cage I ever bought for my parrot and this is my third. I’m totally disappointed.
