The holes on this treat container work perfectly for scratch and provide the chickens with some play time too. I bring it out every once in a while, alternating it with heads of cabbage or other treats, to keep it special for them. I like this better than the roll around treat dispensers. It spreads the opportunity to more chickens at a time.

I’ve read reviews on other products similar to this and I can say that this purchase was one of the best ones I’ve made for my chickens! This is actually the second one I’ve bought so I can’t have one in each run for them! It keeps them entertained for long periods of time with adding scratch grain in it. Size is great, can fit about 2 1/2 cups of scratch grain for them maybe a little more. Very durable especially when my rooster pecks at it to feed his ladies! It is definitely worth the price of it and I will for sure buy more when these are no longer usable which seems like it will be a long time until I have to buy new ones!

My chickens love this! It’s a great way to keep them busy. My only complaint is that the bottom metal rod broke away from the plastic at the base, so now it is only half the height. I can still use it, it just falls to half the height and the broken rod stick up through the top of the container.

This is the cutest little chicken toy and my chickens learned to peck on it to get treats within a couple of days. Most of the time when they are out in the run they are around this and pecking away. So glad that I did not waste my money but it is something that they actually like.

Chickens love it, and it’s easy to fill!

Originally I was very pleased with this product I purchased less than 2 months ago. Even considered buying another. I unscrewed the 2 pieces of the unit and now cannot put them back together. It is a simple design so not rocket science so not sure if the receiving end of the screw fell off somehow or what but now it doesn't hold together. That was a disappointment after such a short time.

I am very pleased i got this for my small flock of hens. It has provided them with entertainment and i would describe this as a worthwhile boredom buster and a great distraction. It's excellent stimulus for naturally inquisitive hens and also provides them with a physical challenge to access treats. It's also very entertaining and enjoyable to watch them use this. The manufacturers have done a great job at designing this to be very user friendly. I can unscrew the main vessel and use it to scoop the corn into itself and then screw it back in to secure it, all with ease. I have a few bits of Omlets equipment and I have found them to be consistent in their products dutability and build quality, this is no different. It's clearly been built to last in the smallholding environment. The plastic used in its construction looks to be extremely high grade materials. I can be confident that this will last years and years of use. The size is fairly good. My hens won't relent and will keep on at this until its empty. They'll empty it in a few hours from when its two thirds full. I love how it looks, again with Omlet they consistently design aesthetically pleasing animal equipment. With all this in mind I am satisfied that it was value for money.

This is great for our hens, they figured it out quickly and loved hanging around it and giving it a headbutt or two! (Yes I know its a peck!) Simple to put together.
