Really nice little lighter and the matte finish feels nice in the hands. The actual shade of pink is different to the colour shown - I'm guessing that's either down to phone/computer screens misinterpreting the colour but it's still a really pretty shade of pink. It's more like a pale baby pink. It works really well (as do all Zippo lighters - easily the best brand out there) just make sure you buy the lighter fluid too, and for that I recommend the Zippo brand fluid as it is very low odour and so you don't get a really strong petrol smell everytime you light it. I don't know how long the pink matte will stay on....I once found a matte zippo and the colour had worn off all around the edges but as I say I found it so I don't know how long the previous owner had had it and/or how they treated it. Anyway it's a lovely colour and is slim and petite and would make a really good gift. It is also a really good price from this seller and it comes in the correct packaging - no question at all about it being genuine. I hope it lasts a long time!

Ok, so what can I really say?, “it’s a Zippo”, we all know what that means, quality, consistency, Zippo make some beautiful lighters, I own a few, this one was brought as just a clean simple lighter. Now it’s not an issue, more that I took a shot and missed, but the colour is a touch glossier & a touch more reflective than I expected. So if you’re looking for “flat black” or just that “simple dark” zippo, whilst this is a nice zippo, I took the chance, so now you don’t have to, this isn’t that dark look zippo.(still nice thou) Summary; Well made, Value, Looks good. I’d recommend (only if not looking for that dark/black look)

Looks great. Finish is high quality. Very compact. But ‘reliability’ is not good. I have a few Zippos that are more difficult to get to ignite (2-3 strokes), this regularly takes a lot - 10/12. Whether that’s an issue with the compact Zippos in general or just this one, I can’t say.

This is a great solid little ligher. I had previously ordered one from annother seller and got sent a high polish chrome that wasn't an armour version (so check it out for the armour mark on the base if you are buying one). Some call the slim Zippo a ladies lighter, but it's just a slightly smaller item, with the same great quality. If you like Zippo, or petrol lighters, you'll like these. All petrol lighters need to be topped up more than gas lighters, and flints also need keeping an eye on. Look after your zippo and it will keep on going for life.

Holding this majestic purple Zippo in your hand must be breathtaking. I don't touch them. I just look at them when I receive a Zippo, as I collect them and this one is number 51 in my collection. I keep them in their boxes and I am saving them for a reason I haven't figured out yet. They are each unique in their own way, and this Zippo Slim Abyss is no exception. They all have their own personalities and good looks and deserve to be kept in pristine condition. I smoke once in a while and use a Bic lighter that lasts me for years. I can't see firing up a Zippo. They are works of art and deserve a better life than using them to smoke. This Zippo is a beauty and you will love it. Buy it, you won't be sorry.

I got the armored slim model, and i love it so far, works great for my smokes! One of the other reviews compared the slim zippo to the size of a bic and theyre right also the flame is a lil smaller, overall i love this for my pipes, my first armor and chrome zippo as well, i love this thing, the smaller flame works great for my tobac pipes! If you got a love for the old tyme stuff, get one you wont be dissapointed, theyve been around this many years for a reason!
