Very happy with the weights and bar; had my heart set on some pricier weights that looked a bit more like the ones you find in the gym, but decided to give these a go and not disappointed at all - excellent quality and great price.

The knurling on the barbell is nice and gives good grip when benching and the tri grip plates open up some good options for different exercises using the plates directly in hand. Ideal for a home gym setup.

Bought the 70kg Olympic tri-grip plates set with the 6ft barbell. The plates feel properly balanced, no wobbling when loaded, and the tri-grip design makes them easy to handle – loading and unloading is quick, even when you're knackered mid-set. Grip is secure, and they slide on/off the bar smoothly. The bar itself is decent: knurling is even all the way along with no rough or bald spots, gives good grip without shredding your hands. Spin is smooth enough for the price. Only downside knocking it to 4 stars is the collars – one slides on perfectly and locks the plates tight, but the other literally doesn't fit the bar properly as too tight even clamped fully open, Bit annoying, but the weights and bar are excellent otherwise – good value set if you're building a home gym.

Top quality kit.

I've spent months looking into Olympic weights and had my heart set on some that £100 more, but being on a bit of a budget, I looked around some more and found these. I also liked the idea of Tri-grip weights so I could use them for other exercises, but also just ease of carrying them and loading them up. These are the 100kg set with the 6ft bar, and quality of these blew me away! Perfect in everyway, from condition, the grip when you hold them, to the look. The rubber coating greatly reduces noise on the floor. These are my first olympic weights but they would be at home in any gym. I've also got a set of the plates on a 1in bar using the Olympic adapter sleeves from Amazon...so the whole set won't be wasted whilst I get my strength up. Fantastic seller too, had a slight hiccup with the FedEx delivery, but this was their fault and not the seller, and the seller dealt with the enquiries quickly and perfectly. Would definitely use again and recommend. Thank you.
