Lucky Bums Skim Board for Kids and Adults

I like the board and it’s a great value, but I found it to be too small for me. I’m 6’1 and prefer a larger board. Kept this for my kids though and they’ve enjoyed it.

Took this on a beach vacation hoping to learn how to skimboard. It's harder than YouTube makes it look. I looked really cool walking down to the water carrying the board.Unfortunately trying to use the board just highlighted how uncool I really am. I couldn't even figure out how to drop the board properly. The two times I managed to get the board moving on the shorline, the minute I stepped on the board it decided to come to a dead stop. As if coming in contact with my uncoordinated thirty-something year old feet just sucked the life out of the board. I would eventually become so dejected and give up, but damn I bet I looked cool walking up the beach holding the board.

Board was a good price, with cool Canadianesque design.Board had minor imperfections.Board made in China.Boars is to small for me, I am 80kg.Overall happy with the board.Board needs wax for sure, cannot use without.

Purchased three of these skin boards for our sons... Very high quality craftsmanship ( smooth wood, non toxic lacquer & Nice artwork)Our son loved playing with them all summer long. We were even able to travel (pack for flying) with them for our summer beach vacation. We will have them for years to come

Good for the price but at the nose of the board the plywood has stared to break apart after just one week at the beach. I would not recommend this for someone who regularly skim-boards but for someone who goes every other year I think it is good for the price.

Nice looking board. Threw it on a thin layer of water (several times) and it didn't slide over the water very well and then my son jumped on and it stuck on the sand. We tried several times while on vacation in Cannon Beach. Due to that I am rating it a 3 because it may have been the users as this is our first skim board. Very sad it didn't work for us.

Bought for my son's 16th birthday. He enjoys using at the lake or in a nearby creek since we don't leave near a beach. Board is sturdy and he's had lots of fun using it.

I got this board for my teenage nephew. It was first time using a skim board and it turned out to be a great beginner board. By the end of the week of riding on the sand there was a little wear on the bottom, but nothing that would impede his riding.I recommend waxing the top for better grip
