These are great for taking the chill off the workshop, at a very reasonable price, highly recommended.

I use it to heat up a double garage, though it wont heat it up very much it certainly takes the chill out of the air. I have only ever used it for about 30mins at a time on max settings and it does warm up the nearby area enough to be able to do some work in the garage. I compared it to a 2KW Stanley brand fan heater from screwfix which was total crap. This is fit for purpose and I would recommend if you intend on heating up a small brick built garage or workshop. The controls are easy to use and the cord is long enough. Also it has small rubber bits on the bottom in contact with the ground which probably dampen any vibrations and is a good design idea. It has a single sturdy handle built into the body of the device which helps you transport it. Overall well built and sturdy and a lovely gloss red colour.

As a heater you would be better off lighting a match and putting your hands around it. We use it in the garage as we have some gym equipment in there and wanted a heater to take the chill off on cold winter nights. We started off by turning the heater on 30 minutes before we went into the garage no difference in temperature, we are now turning it on 24 hours before but very little difference in temperature, give this heater a miss.

Exactly what I was looking for. Perfect to warm my double garage, and even better with having the 2 heat settings.

Due to illness my car is being stored for the winter. Garage is well insulated but wanted it marginally warmer. The ceramic type heaters seem unable at 2500w to raise the temp after two hours running. This heater at it's 2500w setting raised the garage temp by a full degree in 20 minutes. Have it on a smart socket so have full control remoteiy, needed as I'm currently bedbound. So far it's a hit in tandem with a dehumidifier. Good garage temp and low RH%age Bit expensive, hence 4* rating.

Great price of kit. Bought to heat a large conservatory for a 21st birthday party on 17th December when we had temperatures of -10 overnight. Warmed the 10m x 5m conservatory so that it was comfortable for guests. Would highly recommend.

Does not give of a lot of heat at all. Maybe on for a very small area but won’t heat a room.
