Thames & Kosmos Exit Kids - Jungle of Riddles

As a school counselor, I am always looking for fun games to play with my students. They absolutely love this! I use it primarily with 2nd to 5th graders, and it's a major hit!

We tried this game with our three kids ages 11, 9 and 6 because we love the regular Exit games. Knowing it would be a little young for the older two, we figured it would still be fun for them to help. Our 9 and 6 year old loved it, even though the puzzles were pretty easy to solve for them. We opened it on New Year’s Eve and they have played it 4 times already. Our 11 year old was more interested in helping to read the instructions and act as a guide. The theme is super cute and the pictures are great. The decoder is just like the regular Exit games which makes for a good transition and it is the same great quality as the regular games. I do think it would be best for ages 4-8 but depending on the child, older kids can still enjoy it. It’s nice to be able to replay it as much as they want.

We have tried the adult version of this brand and thought we would try the kid line. Our kids are 10 & 8 and this was definitely too easy for them. We know the age the box suggest but wanted to try it any way. We had fun doing it, but it definitely didn't provide any challenges. It would be super great for younger kids. We loved that it allows for the whole family to work together. All in all, it's a fun way to do escape rooms at home.

Our family absolutely enjoyed playing this game! Some tasks are easy enough for kids 5+ years old, while some others might be challenging even for adults. Make sure you download the app (scan the QR code from the booklet). There you will find animated instructions on how to play along with additional content, such as a jungle music soundtrack. I think this game would be perfect for a small birthday party (you may simply replace paper prize cards with real prizes).

Great game for young families. Sons 6 and 4 love playing this game.

We love this for family game night! Also nice because unlike the adult versions, this can be played more than once so we share with friends when we’re done!

My son enjoyed this game! However, the gameplay is much different from their adult versions. I was picturing this being like the adult version, but with easier puzzles. This has the same several types of “puzzles” that you can replay. So it doesn’t really have a story line or something to solve at the end. It was very easy for my 7 year old son, so I would recommend it more for younger kids. The size is appropriate and is a good value since it is replayable.

My 5yo son LOVES this game. He’ll play it on his own as well which is super fun to see. This is our second one because it didn’t make it home after a show and share at school and he was devastated.

Gave this to my nephew for Christmas and he absolutely loved it. He's 6, and it was the perfect length and complexity for him.

This was a great fun game for both my 6 and 8 year olds. It can be collaborative or can be played solo so is really versatile. Highly recommended

Bought this game for my nephew (7) and he was immediately hooked! This level 1 was Easy to play, easy format with engaging problem solving. It’s like a “where’s Waldo” with 6 different themes and multiple cards within the theme. Would highly recommend for curious kids who love to solve things.
