I have used this twice in life because I got c diff. The first time was ten years ago I used it for a whole year after c diff just to make sure I don’t get it again. And the second time was recently when I got c diff again (from taking antibiotics).. this definitely aids in recovery and is a good probiotic. I am completely lactose intolerant and this did not bother my stomach at all. So the amount of lactose in this is minimal and shouldn’t cause issues for anyone! Good luck guys.

I'm giving this 5 stars because it worked exactly as advertised and worked amazingly for my digestive issues when nothing else did. HOWEVER, I am apparently one of the few that have a "rare" allergy to the yeast that actually makes it work and have had an itchy rash on my legs for weeks. :( It worked so well that I actually weighed the pros and cons between being able to eat anything and itchy legs forever Lol I'm currently 4 days out from my last dose and the itchiness is finally subsiding. So if you break out in an itchy rash anywhere while taking these, just beware you might also have an allergy to the main ingredient.

I've been using this product for years. It has always been great. This order, when I opened the shipping box, all appeared well. When I opened the Florastor box, the bottle had been broken and the capsules were...appeared to be dumped back into the box. The box was intact and the outer box, which contained another order, were fine. It looked like, the bottle was broken before it was placed into the Florastor box. Amazon did make it right, so happy as usual. Just need to watch those packers. LOL

I’ve had a really positive experience with Florastor Probiotics for digestive health. What makes this probiotic stand out is that it contains Saccharomyces boulardii, which is different from the typical bacterial probiotics. Because of that, it seems to survive stomach acid better and actually works where it’s needed. I noticed an improvement in my digestion within a few days—less bloating, more regularity, and an overall calmer stomach. It’s especially helpful during or after taking antibiotics since it helps restore balance without being destroyed by the medication.

Please never stop making this probiotic it’s the only thing that keeps my IBS and my post c diff symptoms at bay and I can live a normal life if I take florastor two times a day. It is gentle, but dang it really works it is a miracle. I have repurchased 10 times and I’ll be repurchasing, it is worth the price to me because it gave me my quality of life back. I was never a believer in probiotics until I tried this one for c diff and IBS which I have both. My prescriptions from my doctor don’t even work as well.

Surpriingly, Saccaromyces Boulardi has not been a "mission accomplished". However, the health challenge has been there for a long time and S/B comes highly recommended.
