Found these perfect for the job a lot less hassle than sawing a fibreglass rod reducing fibreglass dust and splinters Cut through 5mm rods with ease

Nice clean cutter but still get the odd splinter so perhaps still wrap rod area you are cutting with sellotape first.

At last! No more wrapping the rods with masking tape to saw them and then struggling to get the sticky tape off without getting painful splinters of fibreglass. These cutters are great, I can now snip the rods so easily at the exact length I need. Very strong and comfortable to use. Great value.

Makes a much cleaner neater cut than using a hack saw. Good purchase.

Other tools of this nature can run to £45 or more.... but this, just does what it says it does. True, it does take quite a large force to cut the rods, but they are fibreglass, so that is expected.
