This book is perfect for readers looking for: New adult/YA crossover Irish romance Dual POVs Friends-to-lovers Angsty tearjerkers Bingeworthy TikTok books Readers are saying: "This book brought me back to life." "JOEY AND AOIFE FOREVER." "THIS SERIES OWNS A PART OF MY SOUL." "I read this in under 24 hrs." "Chloe Walsh writes the kind of romance novels where you can just tell the [characters] are SOULMATES, literally made for each other, two pieces of a puzzle! Joey and Aoife are everything and deserve the whole world!!!" Review: Emotional rollercoaster - Audiobook review ♾️⭐ I’m speechless… wow… I can’t even begin to describe all the emotions this book tugged on. It wrecked my heart, shredded it in pieces and devasted my soul and mind. I’m forever changed. Joey and Aoife’s story hurt so much. The devastation was real. They were proof that love, no matter how powerful, is not enough to cure addiction. The portrayal of Joey’s drug problem was realistic, painful and soul crushing. It hurt how he kept falling deeper and deeper into addiction, but what hurt the most was how his parents completely broke his spirit. But despite his painful life, Joey is one of the most wonderful men ever written about. He didn’t just love Aoife; he worshiped the ground she walked on. And he wasn’t just a brother, he became a parent figure to his siblings, despite not having to, he cared for them and tried to give them a better life. Sweet Joey was nothing like that joke he had as a father, yet his pain led him to believe that was exactly the case. Thank God Aoife Molloy became a part of his life and loved him beyond limits. She was a queen, a warrior, his ride or die. She was a superwoman, and I’ll forever admire her strength. There are so many moments and quotes in this book that I will always remember, but when Joey said, “Baby Boy Molloy” (IYKYK) my heart couldn’t handle it anymore and the waterworks kept coming. This book is also about the importance of real friendships. Is as much about romantic love as it is about love for your friends, and I seriously adore all the side characters that feel like family. A big shout-out to Matthew Forsythe & Jacqueline Milne for their narration. I love their voices and the way they get me so invested in the story. Thank you, Chloe Walsh, for writing such a powerful story. Thank you for all The Boys of Tommen. Review: love that hurts so good - reading this book felt my heart was torn straight out of my chest. joey & aoife's story is so sad, beautiful, tragic. their love is all-consuming. they are the definition of soulmates. aoife showed joey unconditional love, she was the light to his darkness, his ride-or-die and lifeline. she held out a sliver of hope for joey's recovery and stood by his side no matter how many times he relapsed. i've never once doubted their love for one another. no matter how lost joey got in his addiction or head, his love for aoife was always there. my heart ached for joey, for all that he went through with the weight of the world on his shoulders. he is a fighter, a survivor, and a protector of his siblings. his bond with the baby siblings he raised made me admire him so much. he fathered the lynch children more than his parents ever did. he always put them first in everything he did, ensuring their safety and keeping them fed. he sacrificed so much of his youth and innocence so that his siblings didn't have to do the same. the scenes with seany had my heart, i sobbed every time seany called out "o-ee". the bond between the two of them was like no other. i loved the moments between joey and edel. she was so patient and kind to joey, being the loving mother figure he never had. mama and daddy k were heroes for stepping in and giving the lynch children a chance to thrive and a loving home. the scenes with gibsie brought all the comedic relief. i missed this goofball and i'm so excited to dive into his book! can't forget about lizzie, she played such a pivotal role, without her, joey never would've gotten a chance at life. i could easily read 300 more pages of joey & aoife, his journey of healing and seeing them with little aj. i miss them so much already <3

Yes, it’s Joey and Eva’s POV
I absolutely loved the first two books in the Boys of Tommen series—solid 5 stars for me. But Saving 6 left me wondering if it was really necessary. Yes, it’s Joey and Eva’s POV, and yes, I cried and felt all the emotions again, but it often felt like rereading the same scenes from a different angle. I imagine Redeeming 6 will be similar to Keeping 13, just from Joey’s perspective. Still, knowing Joey’s story was heartbreaking, and seeing how he loves was everything. It’s an excellent book, just not offering much new beyond perspective. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Emotional rollercoaster
This book is a total heartbreaker, but I'm giving it a solid 5 stars! I laughed, I cried – Joey and Aoife took me on a rollercoaster of emotions. It's basically like Keeping 13 from Joey's point of view, and man, it hits hard. Joey's love for his siblings, especially Seany, is just heart-melting. Their reunion? I was legit bawling 😭 I'll never get over this story. I'm so damn proud of them! The character development is off the charts. After finishing, I feel both full and empty. This series just owns my heart, and I'm itching for more books in this universe!! Joey is something else. He's worked so damn hard to turn things around after the mess his parents left. Aoife is loyal AF. She stuck by him through thick and thin, and their love story is something else – unique and beautiful 🥹 I can't put into words how much I loved this book. It's perfect – the writing, the plot, the characters – everything. Redeeming 6 changed me; I've never felt this connected to characters before. Chloe Walsh nailed it – the story's raw and real. It broke me, and I had to take breaks from reading. #joeyaoife forever! I’m so happy they got their happy ending despite everything they went through. my poor babies didn’t catch a break, shit kept coming at their faces. my heart hurts for them. Edel and John are lifesavers, and I need their book like I need air. Okay, bye, gonna cry some more. ♾️ stars!!! I didn't want this book to end. Chloe Walsh, you've left me with an empty life – what am I gonna do now? 🥲

Absolutely loved it!
I absolutely loved this one! I loved getting to pick this one up and some of this parallel Shannon's timeline and books. This is the 4th book in the series and you definitely need to read the previous book, start of Joey and Aoife's story, I would recommend reading the first two books as well (Johnny and Shannon's) as they are closely related. I was totally engaged and rooting for Joey and Aoife in this one! They have a lot going on and a lot of obstacles that they need to overcome. Joey is coming to terms that he is going too far with the drugs and struggling to find a way to stop and step back from them again and to not drag Aoife down in the meantime. He needs her and wants her but doesn't want to hurt her or hold her back. He is trying to find a balance but he is soo tired and more just keeps piling on. He needs to find a way to have his own life, one he wants with Aoife, and keep his younger siblings safe. This story tugs on your heartstrings and watching them finally see some hope while trying to tread water and find their way out. He has some major work to do in order to deal with his trauma that he doesn't want to fully admit to and the drugs and how far he has gone in order to try and deal. This story gives us a lot of depth with the characters and the story and I love that we get to see so much of it. This story is long but it never feels long. I was sooo engaged and just wanted more all the time. I still wasn't ready to leave the characters and really want more of both Joey and Aoife as well as Johnny and Shannon. I'm really hoping that we get to see more of them in the future of this series and get to see how they continue to move forward once they finally get their happy ending and hope for an actual future.

😭😭
Okay the plot and characters 10/10 love love love!!! I was annoyed with aofie not telling him her news and wanting so freaking long then with her brother being rude and ungrateful eejit and freaking hole Paul and that sap hoe Danielle. Oh and don’t even get me started on teddy that abusive rapist of a dad. Just eww no. I just finished the book!!! I’m so excited for my baby doing rehab and getting better still hate Darren!!! I love the little family oh and JOEY AND LIZZE that DUO I need more on their friendship/brother sister thing they have!!!! How Joey sees his siblings as his children ❤️😭 aww my baby and the whole “I’m a good father I raised four amazing kids” part was amazing (he didn’t say exactly that but it was close to it) And overall every emotion you have your feel during this book!!! By the way Shannon’s books were far sadder, maybe due to me already knowing some of the outcomes it didn’t hit as hard in joeys book then hers. Still and amazing book and so happy with the series!

Im obsessed with Joey Lynch
This book has given me a book hangover. I’m kinda speechless, honestly. Joey Lynch still has my heart. Let me just start by saying that I read this book while I was on vacation, and it actually had me crying my eyes out while sitting on the beach. To say that I loved this book would be an understatement. I devoured it. I felt every single emotion. The way that I was able to feel everything that both Joey and Aoife felt..Chloe Walsh is incredible. I honestly don’t think that I’ve read another series where I actually feel like I am the main character. Her writing invites you into the story.. I can’t get over it. I immediately wanted to pick up Saving 6 again & start Joey & Aoife’s story again. I can’t remember the last time a book made me feel this way. Just incredible.

A romance that hurts in the best possible way.
an experienced romance reader, I’m always drawn to stories that prioritize emotional depth and character growth — and Redeeming 6 delivers beautifully. This is a slow-burn, character-driven romance that handles trauma, vulnerability, and healing with great care. The characters feel authentic and layered, and their emotional journey unfolds naturally, without shortcuts. Chloé Walsh’s writing is immersive and emotionally charged, making it easy to stay fully invested from start to finish. A powerful and memorable read, highly recommended for readers who value emotionally rich romance.
