Excellent mobile set that covers almost every tool you might need for a quick fix on the go. I shoot a lot of sporting clays, and this set has been perfect for making stock adjustments, tightening the forend, pushing trigger pins, and more. For those reviews saying the bits don’t fit in the extension, there’s actually a small screw in the extension head that locks your bit in place. When mine arrived, the screw was tightened down, so at first the bit wouldn't seat all the way. If you use bit #28 to loosen the screw just a bit, the bit fits in nicely and stays secure. I actually like having this screw because I can tighten it down in the field, so I don’t ever lose a bit. Nice Product!

Fantastic hollow ground gunsmith set. Perfect compact size for the bench and to take on the go as well. It has every bit I need and more. Also, for the ones who said the bits don't fit in the extension, there is a setscrew you must loosen first and they fit right in, then tighten the setscrew, done. When the set arrived, I was thinking I wish it also included an Allen key for the extension setscrew, just to have everything on hand. But no problem, you can actually use bit "#36 1.5mm" in the set as it's the perfect size for the extension setscrew. Thanks Lyman! And Amazon's one-day shipping was excellent, too.

Probably wouldn't have bought them except Amazon Warehouse had them cheap. Set has a wide array of bits for most screws I have come across on firearms. Only 4-stars because they are made overseas.

I'm not a professional Gunsmith, but I do the work/upgrades to all my firearms myself and this kit has been SO helpful. I guarantee it has the correct tip you will need. Didn't really care for the handle included, but I bought it for all the tips. Don't strip out the screwhead on that vintage rifle, use the right size tip!

Great set, I read all the reviews about the bits not fitting in the extension, and when it first arrived mine didn't fit either but if people would look a little harder rather than jump on Amazon and write a bad review than they would realize there is a set screw on the side of the extension that has to be loosened in order to put the bits in. Mine works great and has just about any bit you could want for gunsmithing

This is medium size gunsmith tool kit, it will cover about 80% to 90% of the screws and special nuts you will find on firearms. So noted things are no metric hex sizes and some of the specialty bits found in larger sets. It will fit most gun owners needs to disassemble and assemble most firearms and for adding accessories and scopes to their firearms. This is the right screw and nut drivers for the job.

Saw several reviews that mentioned this problem, but it is in fact real. Inside the magnetic tip of the number 51 extension, I found broken metal chips that I thought would allow the bits to fit once removed. Wrong! The little ball detent will never make it into the retaining wall of the extension drive. This is the case for each of the bits including in the kit. very disappointed and will attempt to return tomorrow.

Great kit for gunsmithing. I'm so tired of seeing screws that have scratches and marks in them, because all I had was one flat blade screw driver, and the screw needed a different bit. This kit has about every screw bit you could ever imagine! They also have a nice grip on the back so you can get a perfect finger tight!
