These are the best bang for buck when it comes to kevlar pads.
I tossed these in my Kevlar before heading to ITX and it was a night and day difference from the issued grey blocks. They required almost no break in and after a couple of ranges they made the lid as comfortable as a baseball cap. Padding seems thin but it's actually just right. Super easy to install, took 15 seconds and latched right on. I'm not sure how they will hold up after taking them out for gear re-issue but I guess I can always try to post an update. Probably the best thing I upgraded for my kit and a fraction of the cost of other brands/models. Only con is that they will hold a bit of sweat but it's not that big of a deal.

Combat helmet approved
This is a must if you are needing comfort with durability, it made my helmet setup 100 times more comfortable, the padding is thick and will break in over time and provide comfort and it's just a well made padding system for your helmet especially if you are running coms and night vision, as far as functional use it directly replaced the old padding without any modifications, the adhesion of the pads is well made and durable even in high heat, and with it being broken up into the different pads individually you can create your own custom fitment inside the helmet to suit your needs without breaking the bank, I would recommend dd 10/10

Great Pads
AWESOME pads. They make any bump helmet much much more comfortable. Though since most Airsoft/Paintball bump helmets are $50-55, these being priced MORE than the actual helmets they are going into seems kind of terrible...but honestly worth the money. Just wish they were more like $40.

Good but
Amazing pads when warm outside but once it gets cold these pads become bricks they eventually break in

Decent Pads
These pads are good because they provide impact protection unlike $20 China pads, yet are more comfortable and easy to arrange well than issued ach pads, while half the price of team Wendy pads. They are rather firm, so don’t expect a lot of give. Closest in feel to the issued pads, but still a bit softer and better conforming. CAREFUL when tearing on and off of inner helmet, as one of mine tore at the seem. Overall they are a good option if you want actual protection from blunt force/back face deformation without the price of Wendy pads or the feel of issued pads. If you are looking for airsoft/ non serious purposes the cheap China pads are likely more comfortable and no less durable.

Wow!
Well. I wish I’d had these pads 20 years ago. I got them yesterday. Installed them took 17 seconds . I Haven’t had my helmet off yet. Wife isn’t happy. Paper boy looked at me strange. The lady at McDonald’s thanked me. Not sure why. Anywho. I have had many helmets. Spent a ton of time in helmets. Got shoot once in a helmet . This is by far the most comfortable in a helmet I have ever been. Wearing it now. Nothing but the helmet . Going to just keep on wearing it. Already cutting the neck of my shirts out to fit over it. I’m going bald anyways. I shall check back and report on the ballistics protection if///when my wife shoots or hits me with a blunt object Did I mention how comfortable these pads are? Ahh. They aight.

Who are these for?
I was looking for some new, high quality padding for my helmet and when I saw these I thought that maybe these were it. I was wrong. When they arrived I was surprised by how thick the pads were. So let’s do a pro’s and cons list. Pro’s: -The brow pad was really nice. Con’s: -These pads are as hard as a brick and maybe over a long period of time they might break in, but on initial installation and trying them on my helmet was sitting on top of my head like some kind of cartoon. -The pads are too thick. Thick pads would be good if they had some give in them, but with the fore-mentioned brick-like feel they just don’t fit right in an adult man’s helmet. -Price. For how much these cost they should have been much better quality. With this said I really do wonder who these are made for. Maybe a kid playing airsoft wearing a helmet that’s too big for him, but I can’t see these being comfortable in any adult man’s helmet. What I would suggest to the manufacturer is to cut the thickness on all the pads except the brow pad which was actually perfect. I unfortunately had to return these.

Confort feels really nice
How thick is the overall pad, and how thick is each individual layer? Public • 3 participants Customers who answered the question are invited to this conversation Amazon Customer joined the conversation HHV, Seller answered • 2 hrs Overall thickness is 1/2" thick. Comfort layer is about 75% of that with the other layers making up the rest. HHV joined the conversation You answered • Just now The cushion pads are 1 cm shy of one inch. The long strip is 1/2 in. My old pads that were issued became collapse and ach sat low to where on the prone the ach would cover my eyes, impossible to shot. Now with these pads ach sits high on head and able to see now. Very comfortable. Takes a little bit to mold to head in cold weather. Be careful when installing because the Velcro on ach can rip the cushion fabric. I had to relocate one and tore a little bit off of the sewing. I highly recommend pads. I bought a separate gray cushion pad for he forehead for additional comfort. I mounted the pads to where most of the weight is around my head and not directly on top of it to distribute weight.
