Shinwa Japanese 10 Stainless Steel Sliding T Bevel Gauge (Japan import)

Very good sliding bevel. Shinwa make good quality tools. This will last for years if looked after properly. The locking nut is oversized and strong catching the sliding blade very well. The main body is slim but tough and would not bend easy! Very happy with this purchase.

Quality tool again! Brass nurled knob, fantasic weight for leaving it on the bed of machines. 100-150mm is ideal length for transferring my angles. The only DOWN SIDE, this would be their machining or heat treating process. The actual bevel blade has buckled ever so slightly, so when im tightening the bevel to the angle i need, the the inside face of the "plate" are not meeting 100% this is a issue then finger tightening up, could prove difficult to maintain the angle. BUT its an easy fix and still worth £15 - £16 pounds. I'm happy. I appreciate a good tool.

For the cost i thought it would be better to use or even better quality.. lovely laser cut design.. the brass screw didn't tighten that well by hand.. had to use a screwdriver. Not impressed

its quite good if marking out on a sheet like mdf or ply or if your building something, its no good say for fascia on a roof or that sort of thing to be moving about with all the time, I suppose I mean if your a bench worker then its great if your a building site worker then no but apart from that its great
