The stock brake calipers on my e-bike broke around 1700 miles. I ordered a replacement set, and they only lasted 500 miles before failing in the same way. I got this set and I am very happy with them. They were very easy to install, (actually easier than the last set), and because of their universal compatibility they lined up perfectly with the disc without any extra adjustments. My other caliper sets seemed to always rub a bit and make noise, but these seem to be perfectly compatible with my setup and are completely silent. They grip well and stop quickly and controllably making me feel safer on hills and in traffic. I have already put almost 300 miles on them, and I can say that they work perfectly and inspire confidence. These were only a couple of dollars more than the bargain brand, but the difference in quality and ease of installation would make these a great value at twice the price!

These disk brakes are easy to install and work great! Easy to do proper maintenance. These calipers will last me many years.

I purchased an Ozark trail mountain bike for $15 because it was misassembled and did not include brake calipers. I immediately came to Amazon looking to find the replacements and settled on these. It took a moment to figure out which one goes in front and which one goes in back, further once I had the front installed it took me a moment to realize that I needed to flip the caliper to accommodate the size. Overall it took about 5 minutes, and they installed easily. No squeaks, and they operate smoothly. If I understand correctly, each caliper will accommodate a rotor of both indicated dimensions but it must be flipped in order to accommodate the alternative size, I have a larger rotor on the front than the back and so the printed words were on the opposite side for the rear. We aren't going to find this bike in a peloton somewhere, there is a simple ask and a simple response, for the money my overall bike is still incredibly affordable, these are the most affordably priced I could find, they function flawlessly and as one would expect.

Bought these, to temporarily replace a hydraulic set, because I was electrifying my bike. The mounting frames look well made and engineered to the heavy side for durability. Mounted right up where my Hayes units were. Took very little adjusting to center on rotors. No more toeing in pads, and getting angle, and you had to have straight rims, argh! Definitely more braking power than cantilever brakes, but far shy of my Hydraulics. A little easier to modulate than hydraulic, which I like, just not the ultimate "grab the wheel" stop. Which probably will keep this old man from bailing over the bars. Lol. But if you ride in the rain, or mud and dirt, these are soooo much better than rim brakes. Worth the money. I would buy again

The calipers were an easy install and the pads were easy to center. I cycle in hilly terrain with some very steep hills here on the Canadian Shield. The pads stop my bike very quickly if I need it. Deer run out in front of me at times

the pin can't be removed ... metal pads when they're done u need to buy new brakes entirely again ... i kept these for temporary brake power but if you want to put brake pads that are more rubberized for better braking power you'll just need to buy the wwhole brake sets like this again preferably with a removeable pin ! the pin is not a hex key screw like it looks ... i tried unscrewing it and hitting it and pulling it with pliers to remover the pin just to test it and to see what size of break pads are necessary but everything is already permanently assembled regarding the brake pads. Metal pads don't stop very good either especially if one brake fails the other is not good enough by itself.
