I have some thinning hair at the crown. This little powder easily conceals the scalp peaking through. I just pat it on with the cleverly enclosed 'puff' [it's in the bottom of the container]. I then arrange my hair and top it off with a little hair spray. I'm set for the day. I use it most days. The product itself lasts a long time.

I have dark brown hair that I get colored. I have a little patch of grey that creeps up in the front of my head, before I’m ready to go back to the salon. I also use spray touch ups, but wanted to try a powder. I don’t have anything else to compare this product to, but so far it seems to work well. For less that $8, I think it’s a good solution. Happy with the purchase

I was skeptical of product after reading some NEGATIVE reviews...But, decided to order it & boy I'm blown away! I'm sooo HapPy I did! This product works great! I have salt/pepper graying hair with thinning around hairline. I just lightly blot powder around balding areas & blends beautifully. It lasted & didn't rub off on my pillow cover. I read a review were it said that "Gray" color it was too dark, another review said " Not worth it"!..In my case it's VERY WORTH the price & results. I think this "Gray" color would work best if u r salt/pepper graying or original color is, was darker color tones. Highly recommend!

Very pleased with this product. Easy to apply, and was a good match for Madison Reed’s carrera red hair color. Only 4 stars because it is not sweat-proof, but it’s a good solid product otherwise.

Root powder does the job well. Hides the bright shiny silver in my hairline. Convenient with removable sponge applicator and mirror in the cap. Lasts awhile. Much neater than spray dyes.

I want to love this, but I can't. I have a hard time with the cushion part. Doesn't seem to transfer color to my hair very well. The brush works a lot better. Try not to run your fingers through your hair because it will end up on them. But I don't find any powder on my pillow so that's good.

This powder works great. It covers up, easy to use and blends well for a natural look. I'm sure I'll be placing more orders.

Gotta say, I'm a huge fan of Sovoncare hairline powder. Thinning hair from medication and menopause put me in search of remedies to help me feel better about myself. Sovoncare to the rescue! I've heard a lot about hairline powders and hair fibers, even tried a few of the fibers, without much success. The fibers really aren't the problem, it's the difficulty finding the right color so blending looks natural. Also, the application can be tricky - it takes practice, but the fibers are expensive and you only get a small amount, so wasting the product isn't practical. That's where Sovoncare hairline powder comes in. I bought it thinking it was worth a try. The price is so reasonable that I didn't mind wasting a little of the product to practice applying it. Turns out I only had to practice one time because the application was so easy and the colors matched perfectly. My natural hair color is auburn - light reddish brown, which turns strawberry blonde in the summer. But, with that wonderful thing called age, not only has my hair thinned, it turned gray at the temples, as well as an ugly ashy reddish brown everywhere else. The dye I use is a reddish golden light brown, so when I purchased the Sovoncare hairline powder, I decided to buy 2 colors, (light brown and light auburn), to blend with my multi-toned hair color. EXCELLENT decision! Application was so easy. I used the puff sponge to dab the powders on the thinning areas, then dabbed the powders on my gray, not completely covering it, just making it look a little less silver and more natural. Then I used the blending brush Sovoncare provided to finish the application. It was so easy and only took about 5 minutes. Later that day I met my bff for lunch and she immediately commented on how great my hair looked, (she knows the thinning bothers me), and asked what I was using. She couldn't believe how natural it looked, not like powder at all. Of course, I was thrilled. Of course, I AM thrilled. Important things to mention: in addition to hair thinning, menopause has gifted me the pleasure of unexpected sweating, especially on top of my head. So, as you can imagine, using dark powder on my head had me a little worried...I didn't want brown dripping down my face. I'm happy to report, although I did sweat while wearing the powder on my head, it DID NOT drip down my face. I did dab my head with a tissue and brown hair powder transferred onto the tissue, but it did not drip at all. Bonus points! Also, the application is very easy. Sovoncare provides a blending brush and a puff sponge, which makes it easy to apply and blend. While the powder can be messy, honestly, that's due to the user, not because the product gets everywhere. This is why practice is necessary...it helps you get used to the product and how much you need to use get the proper coverage. I found that a little goes a long way. Start light and add more if you need additional coverage. Applying the powder doesn't take very long at all. The first few times you do it can take several minutes, but eventually it's like every other part of your routine and will take up less of your time. So yeah, I'm in love with Sovoncare hairline powder and I definitely recommend it. I will be purchasing the powders again so I always have it on hand. If Sovoncare sold hair fibers I'd buy the product in a heartbeat. Happy customer!

This works like a dream but notwith the small brush.With the one at the bottom of the jar . I don;t use it for hair that is getting thinner but to cover my grey roots in between colorings. And that is what this product is made for .Not for making your hair look thicker .

Buy it.. it’s a life saver for inbetween dye jobs!!It covered my grey and did not transfer to my hands afterwards as I styled and pinned my hair up.. none on pillows either or towels
