Very good board with great upgrade potential
[Skip to Pro-Con section if you don't feel like reading this] A really good value board in the world of today. If you want to start with a "budget" system and upgrade as time goes on, this is a WONDERFUL board for that. Started with an i5-12600KF and plan on upgrading to 14th gen Intel when prices cool off. It's pretty easy to install, everything came as advertised, and there were no issues or unexpected things, at least to the eye of a new PC builder in summer '25. Seems barebones, but comes with some neat features, especially in regard to the onboard sound, M.2 heatsink, and reinforced PCIe x16 slot. Like seriously, maybe it's just me, but the back audio jack for the on-board sound (the green one) sounds like... really good. MSI BIOS also seems pretty stable in regard to RAM overclocking, but maybe that's more software design, who knows... Pros: - Four DIMM slots for RAM. Hey, to me, I thought this was neat. Guess with DDR5 motherboards two slots is more common (?) but DDR4 seems to have all 4 DIMMs available. - A heatsink for one of your M.2 drives. Didn't expect a board of this spec to come with one. Great for PCIe Gen 4 speed drives that get really hot (I'm looking at you, Sabrent...). - Surprisingly good onboard sound... Like, super surprised. You won't need any PCIe SoundBlaster card or anything if you just use the back jack, the sound "core" or whatever they call it on the board seems to have some kick to it! - USB 3 support. Not a super big thing in modern day, but to me it was sweet. Good stuff! Neutral: - PCIe Gen 4 speeds. Not really an issue, given most hardware won't really even take advantage of PCIe gen 5 speeds nowadays, but if you have a 5070 Ti or higher and really want to get your money's worth, keep this in mind. Cons: - Lack of screw specification. For the smaller screws, they look REALLY similar. If you're not careful and use the ones with the slightly taller heads, you"ll cross-thread it in and get em stuck. Glad about the upgrade potential cause that motherboard is like permanently part of the case now, lol...

โญโญโญโญโญ Reliable Motherboard with Great Performance and Build Quality
โญโญโญโญโญ Reliable Motherboard with Great Performance and Build Quality Excellent motherboard, highly recommended. The MSI PRO B760M-P DDR4 works perfectly and delivers stable, reliable performance. Installation was straightforward, and everything was detected without issues right from the start. Build quality feels solid, and it offers all the essential features needed for a smooth and efficient PC build. It runs cool, performs well under load, and is a great choice for both work and everyday use. Overall, this is a great value motherboard from MSI. Very satisfied with the purchase and would definitely buy it again.

Not a Gaming Mobo
Functions well. Lack of heat sinks and vrm protection makes it bad for gaming, which was my original intention. I was new to building, and my local shop explained how my throttling and crashing issues could be from overheating vrm's. I bought MSI's Z790 Gaming mobo with all the heat stuff, and my pc runs 100x more stable now. I bought a new cpu for it and repurposed this mobo into an office pc and sold it off to a local mom and pop shop for their office. They haven't called me about any issues and it's been over a year or two now.

Great budget board. Only one minor gripe.
I got back into PC's last year. I built a Core i3 12100f and 6650XT system. Great 1080p high and 1400p medium/low system for a starter. I recently upgraded to a 12600k that I got at a steal and an 6800 that I also got at a phenomenal sale price. Well into stable 1440p performance now. I was debating on just keeping the i3 and 6650xt as a backup. I instead decided to build a second system to keep at my mom's house so she has a new computer for printing documents and social media, as well as making sure I have a PC to still game on when I visit. This board was simple and I actually preferred the software in comparison to my Gigabyte B660m board I have. This board does not have all the bells and whistles, including no ARGb header or VRM heatsinks. However, this board will likely never go beyond a 12600k and my current 6800. This board now hosts the i3 and 6650xt and it is nice to have a way to play my games away from my home when I visit mom. This board with that combo performa very well and is a great way to get an affordable system. Just make sure if you want RGB you will need a case that has SATA powered fans. I am going to be buying another one soon so I can build a for sale system with an RX5500xt and I have full confidence this will make a great e-sports PC for a new or basic gamer. My only gripe with this board is that the power connectors are SUPER tight. You may think this is the PSU I used but I previously used the power supply in my previous build and those didn't have an issue with my main MB. Just worries me if I ever decide to upgrade from the 550watt unit that is currently in the system.

Gets the job done
This motherboard is my first MSI build. It provides what I need, namely sufficient power and sufficient expansion capabilities. The last desktop I purchased was sometime before the last turn of the century. All the others I have assembled myself. It is always an adventure and this one was very smooth. The system has a 12th generation Intel cpu (12100f), 32 gb of ram (DDR4, 3200 mhz), and an MSI RX 580 graphics card. This motherboard has a gen 4 PCIe bus and the speed is readily visible, so a gen 4 nvme is advisable to take advantage of the available speed. Mine is an HP (500 gb) that is plenty quick. This system runs the Zorin OS (Linux), which started up smoothly the first time I turned it on. (That's what's nice about Linux, that you can move a hard drive from one machine to another and it starts up smoothly in the new build.) Motherboards need to be stable and provide a solid foundation for your desktop. This one does precisely that and provides two expansion slots currently used for a wifi card (TP-Link) and a usb-c card. The motherboard also can accept a 13th generation Intel cpu, which allows for updating down the road. This will necessitate DDR5 ram however. This system is built for everyday computing, and the motherboard provides a good foundation for that. Best of luck in your computing adventures. This MSI motherboard meets my needs quite adequately.

Very solid board
I started building PC's about 35 years ago. I've been assembling them on and off over the years but this motherboard really impressed me. It is solid and it made the initial setup quite painless. To say things have come a long way over the years would be an understatement. The only thing that caught me off guard was for the first time I built a PC with an i5 processor and this motherboard requires a video card to boot up with this processor. There was no message or anything, it just came on and nothing happened. Realized I needed a video card and it was smooth sailing after that.

Soluciรณn estable y barata

Defective from factory
Like many others on here, I got the white VGA light that indicates it can't find the GPU. Tried another GPU, reset CMOS, and a few other troubleshooting measures and couldn't clear it, you can't access BIOS if this happens either with a processor that has no internal graphics. Reading online this is apparently a really common failure with these boards and I have gotten a few MSI parts defective in the past, I think I have finally written them off now.

Worked flawlessly
Great for everyday builds. I used it with a Core I5 12400F and discrete graphics. Only 2 built-in internal SATA connectors might be a minor limitation if you are upgrading and keeping drives. Careful of the MSI suggested software (Norton!) that pops up at the end of a Win11 install.

One of the best economy LGA1700 DDR4 gaming boards
One of the best economy LGA1700 DDR4 gaming boards. No WiFi -- makes it much less costly, which is good. BIOS setup for XMP 3200MHZ RAM speed is simple and easy (but do check YouTube videos on this if any confusion).
