I’ve gone through countless cellphones since Steve Jobs changed the game—most of them lost, stolen, or taken out by life. Yet somehow, my little iPhone 4S has survived it all. Only half the screen works, but she’s still a keeper because she’s the last model that stores your full iTunes library on the device. A relic, yes—but a glorious one. I stopped using it years ago after my original charger died. I assumed 30‑pin chargers had gone extinct, but on a whim I checked Amazon a few months back and—lo and behold—they’re still out here thriving. I ordered one, and to my delight it works perfectly. Now I have access again to my early‑aughts music library: over 1,200 songs, including obscure remixes, forgotten bops, and all the gems I curated back when Limewire, Napster, and Kazaa were the Wild West of music “acquisition.” Those were the days. If you’ve got an old‑school device that still powers on and you need a 30‑pin charger, this one actually does the job.

Still have a few iPods so I still need the 30 pin cable for them. Seems all these cheap knock off cables on the market are hit or miss. Bought this one since it's fairly inexpensive and, so far, it works well. Charges and syncs data so can't really complain there. We'll see how long this one will last.
