An exceptional golden barberry in an exciting dwarf form. This deciduous shrub displays striking, non-burning foliage with a golden yellow, orange cast almost year round which intensifies in the autumn. Its arching stems have thorns, thus the name barberry. This barberry maintains good foliage color and will produce berries in the fall. A great attraction for birds. Excellent color for the landscape from spring to fall. Brightens beds and adds vibrant contrast to shrub borders. Slow growing and usually will get a maximum height of 1 feet and 18 inches wide, making it stand out against darker green or burgundy foliage plants and or ground covers.
