I havent used it in the car yet. I introduced it to my dog in the house and she loves it. Every time I bring it out, she immediately sits in it and relaxes or even has a snooze. She is normally very active and very clingy. I have never seen her so calm so I'm hoping this helps her with her car anxiety. The material is good quality but the bottom is a bit flimsy. My dog is 9kg and I wouldn't trust carrying her in this car seat because the bottom might rip. The pillows are cheap but once you fluff them and zip them into place, you can't tell. I will probably eventually replace the pillow that goes in the bottom with a thicker pillow or a blanket. This dog car seat is worth the price to see her so calm. I wish it was a bit cheaper so I could buy one for the car and one for the house! It can easily double as a dog bad if you travel a lot with your dog.

My mini dachshund loves this thing. He happily jumps in it when I need to take him somewhere, but it doubles as a bed too because he loves to sleep in it! Great purchase.

The bed is exactly as described. Very easy to put together, plump and cosy, and good quality. My Cavalier King Charles has plenty of room to stretch out, turn around, or curl up as desired. I recommend getting a harness to go with it. If you do have an incident when driving, the harness and bed combo will give your little friend an improved chance of protection on emergency stops. The peace of mind on long trips (or short ones) is priceless, and my dog arrives at destination happy and ready for fun. Highly recommend
