Excellent - light, sturdy and keeps a firm grip
Super - exactly what I needed. Light enough that you can use at arms length, sturdy enough that it keeps a firm hold on the snake. Really like that it doesn’t harm the snake and you can modulate how much pressure is being exerted. Used it with several large (6’) rat snakes and a few smaller copper heads.

Good quality and dependable even if you have never touched one before.
One good investment, good quality, easy to use. If you only have to use one time and free yourself of a venomous snake, it is worth every single dollar. Before going to bed I often just pick through my window shade for no reason. A few days ago I opened my shade and saw my dog jump back in a defensive way, I grabbed my new snake tongue and yes there it was a copperhead, and I just sent it with St Peter. I walked inside and started to think what if there was another snake, I graved the snake tongue again and just went there to double check, guest what? there it was, a 2nd copperhead near, I used the tongue again and delivered the 2nd one to St Peter too.

Works as intended, adjust to your needs.
Sturdy, grabs very well, the lock is a bit difficult to on/off but does stay in place. #1 this is a long stick, and the longer the stick is the more difficult it is to maneuver and control. This one is ideal for situations like mine where I have to reach under cars or up into cabinets to pull snakes for the neighbors. #2 add a small wrap of grip tape to the handle and a couple inches down the shaft. This helps a lot with control and keeps it from sliding around, and add a small stripe of bright paint, like nail polish, to make it easy to see the grabber claws in low light.

Impressed and ordered another.
Very pleased with this. I was surprised that it arrived already assembled- but, it was nice to not have to put it together. It’s sturdy, works well and I am so pleased with it I bought a second one to keep in the chicken coop. I live in the country and snakes are common- this product is the perfect size to keep you safe as you manage the reptile. Definitely recommend this.
