Great stuff! I let it sit on my hair five minutes after I wash, rinse it out… feels rather conditioned afterwards. I then do my regular conditioner since my hair is super dry. It might help to know I don’t rinse it to death, just enough til the water doesn’t look purple anymore. It gives my hair a nice ashy hue. I’m a beige/ dark buttery blonde.

I mean it can tone the hair but it’s soooo uneven. It made some of my hair dark purple and other parts silver like I wanted. It takes a while to get it on all of my hair and even when it is it comes out uneven because of the amount of time it takes to from one side of your head to another. don’t recommend it unless you’re just trying to tone a very small amount of hair (streaks for example) and I only had a short bob and it gave me this problem. A very light lavender toner that’s used like dye or even a super light lavender dye before washing or rinsing your hair is so much better than a purple conditioner or shampoo if your hair is yellow. Purple shampoo like Bondbar bonding purple shampoo works though if you just want to prevent your hair from turning yellow once it’s already toned with a real toner/dye and doesn’t come out dark purple or anything. The texture was fun though.

The BEST affordable at home toner I’ve ever used. I’ve been using redken purple shampoo for years and while it does work this product works 10x faster!

This works well but not as much as I thought it would. It does stain your hands purple as well but I really like it because it doesn’t dry out my scalp like purple shampoo or other conditioners do.

This product is so much fun to use because it comes out like whipped cream. Can use quite a bit to saturate hair and it is lightweight nd not heavy. Just be careful not to leave on for too long because it will turn your hair purple. 10 min max and be careful with freshly bleached hair.

I’ve gotten several uses out of this bottle on my short hair. I appreciate that it doesn’t dry my hair out, and it’s very effective against brasiness and preserves my ashy hair tone.
