When we first receive this and unpacked it from its box, we were disappointed that it seem to not work. However we decided to give it a test and quickly put it in the guest bathroom and turned off the lights. We were pleasantly surprised when our potty lit up! The motion detector is extremely sensitive and the light goes off as soon as another light interferes. It's for a dark bathroom only, so if you have Hall lights shining into the bathroom, it will not light up. Are five children love it and think it's hysterical.

Our family plays a game on Christmas. We all buy a gift in value up to $15 which each sex can use, wrap and then its given a number. Then the same amount of gifts get a separate number put into a hat. The person with #1 gets to pick from the pile of gifts. Then the person with the #2 picks a gift. If #2 likes #1's gift they can exchange! This continues through the numbers and exchanges. The last person gets the best choice. It's fun and a nice game for the Holidays! The light for the toilets was a hit and got the most of exchanges. My 14 year old grandson finally got the light. His whole family loves it. It can be a gag item and a practical item all at once. Plus the price is great!

Very disappointed. The box was damaged and not even sealed in any way. Could barely get the AAA batteries to fit and had to force the compartment shut. Then it stayed on constantly in the dark or light. Very poorly made and doesn't fit a standard toilet very well at all. The only thing that was cool was the light colors and that it wasn't bright in the dark, but rather had a nice glow for "middle of the night" use.

I bought these little lights for my master bath and two guest bathrooms. I love the LED lights, they are bright enough that you definitely don’t need to turn a light on in the middle of the night. The motion sensor also works really well. I am happy overall with this product but I can’t give it 5 stars because I’m having a problem with them staying on my toilet bowl rims. The arm that you bend over the rim that holds the light in place is too flexible, after about a day I’ve noticed that it tends to straighten itself back out and then the light falls off if you lift the lid of the toilet. It’s too bad that the manufacturer didn’t use a stiffer wire to hold the light in place. I am planning on keeping the lights, like I said, I do like them overall, you just may want to keep this little issue in mind before you place your order.

A great night light, however, the problem is getting the batteries in properly required a small screw driver to pry them into place. Once they are all in properly, the light is a hoot to play with until you get your favorite color, which changes weekly for me. Ordered the 16 color version 8 months later to find a completely different product that does not work nearly as well as the 8 color, and stopped working completely after 1 month, too late to return through amazon. In the trash it goes, ordering another 8 color, will update this review after I've had that one for a few months.

This potty light is seriously the best invention ever. My husband and I notoriously wake mid-night to go to the bathroom. We despise turning on the lights because we wake the other up and also, further wake ourselves, then can’t get back to sleep. This little light is motion activated, and turns on when you approach the toilet. The light is bright enough to guide you, but not too bright to stimulate you. It randomly changes colors from pink, blue, purple, green, red, orange, yellow and white, or you can lock in on one constant color. The light remains lit for a few minutes, then goes back to sleep and so do you! A must have! Bonus: Our toddler loves it and wants to potty in our bathroom because of the light!

I love love love this! Great for the price. When you are sleepy and need to get up and go potty, the sensor will come on when you walk toward the toilet. This way you don't have to flip the bright bathroom light on. I'm gonna get one for the other bathroom. You can put it on any color u want or have it rotate to different color each time. It will stay on for about two minutes and then automatically go off. If you aren't quite finished, just move your leg in front of the sensor and it will come back on. Don't let the red light fool you. I looked in there one time and thought I had blood in the toilet but it was just the red light. Scared the heck out of me LOL

The sensor will not fit on most toilets so we have it hanging on the bathroom door. No instructions on what the button is for or how to use it. It will supply light and the sensor does work and changes colors but you can't put it where it's advertised to go.
