These are brilliant. After two attempts with another brand that uses the conductive technology a work friend lent me his waterproof iPod and I was sold and ordered mine as soon as I got back from the swimming pool! It's worked without a hiccup (except when I forgot to turn it off!) and the headphones are very good and with so much choice I found a comfortable fit easily. The quality is also better than the other brand/style I tried.

[this is a revised review] This is a great product with good sound and good comfort. This pair is my 4th pair of waterproof headphones. regardless of the brand, the life expectancy is usually max 3 years while the most fragile part is the buds. With these, I had little malfunction problem on the cord, but the customer support reacted quickly even though my warranty was expired. Can only recommend, will buy again.

These are a solid product and I have ordered these twice now as the first pair came to the end of their life. They are comfortable (I use the tree earpieces) and they do not leak so long as you pick the right size. Sound quality is good and not muffled under water unless water gets in. My only reason for giving 4 stars not 5 is that this time round the delivered headphones only worked in one ear and had to be returned.

Well, what to say. Firstly, these come with so many options that you will be bound to find one that works for you. I had tried several others and was about to give up and go to bone-conductivity trials with Finis when I thought I'd try this instead. So, on the one hand, and perhaps it's the most important quality of all, they will solve your problem. Howvever, this solution comes at a price because out of the dozen or so different options available only one or two might work for you which (a) means the rest may as well be thrown away and (b) you have no spares. And to achieve this range of possible solutions you end up paying a lot of money to try all the options and pick one. Am I pleased with the outcome -- yes I am. I found a newfound pleasure of being able to swim while listening to an audiobook through my waterproofed iPod nano clipped to my goggles. But this is a very expensive option that, if I were you, I would leave to the stage prior to the Finis mp3 bone conductivity option.

these swim buds are virtually unusable. They are so large that they make my swimming cap stick out and are painful against my ears. All the plastic attachments don't work--they are like torture devices. Water just pours into your ears. I am going to try to return them even though I have used them.

First thing first : They work just fine under water But, do not have big expectations on sound, is ok but nothing out of this world, you will be in the water after all. I bought these exclusively for swim sesion in my pool ( 5ft deep) and : Do not expect these to last more than 6 months, i bought these on 14 feb, and today one of them stopped working to my big annoyance and frustrations, in the middle of a swim ( pool ) . You have an entire box full of accessories to chose from, in terms of earbuds, so no worries, u are covered. but in case they stop working ( and they will believe me, ) prepare another 65 pounds, cause u will need them so this is the biggest complain, far to expensive, for such a short ammount of time, to be worn and stop functioning.

These are great. I never look forward to length swimming, but these pass the time and make it bearable. I tried SWIMp3 bone transducers style but the volume control was poor and didn't like the phasing effect I encountered whenever my face partially titled or lifted out of the water during strokes. The use of an ipod shuffle is inspired and I find that plugging into the Apple eco system is asier and friendlier than using proprietary mp3 interfaces or running Windows media player libraries. One tip I'd like to share is running the cables through then adjustment hoops on your goggles. Without doing this I found that I was inadvertently tugging on the earpieces, and in one set the cable got so fatigued it internally broke and no longer powered the bud. Underwater Audio replaced the set without any fuss. At the time I thought this was a weakness in the construction of the buds, but since changing my method I haven't had any problems, so I'm willing to give 5 stars. By the way, some people balk at listenting to music while swimming and think it isn't natural or that you should be in tune with your muscles and your breathing. I agree with this to an extent, particularly for beginners, and I used to take the pure Zen like approach. Now, since I've upped my lengths to about 100 per session, I'm happy to do anything to break the unrelenting, induce-me-into-a-coma monotony.

Great product - I have a waterproof iPod and the earphones were broken due to overuse, so bought these. They are fabulous and I can now listen to my tunes again whilst swimming. Quite pricey but as long as they last for a few years, then I consider that good value for money.

I decided to try a different size of ear bud "trees" (the thing that sticks in your ear and seals out the water) and after switching from the large to medium, I was able to swim nonstop for 50 minutes without having to adjust at all! It really was amazing how they worked so well - even without a swim cap. Great sound! Works perfectly! Easily merits a 5 -star review! The not-so-good: - I usually spend the first 10 minutes of each swim session experimenting with the earbud fit, placing and replacing the bud in my ear until I get the right seal. - It's only occasionally that I completely forget about the earbuds and get into the "zone" and just swim. Almost the whole time, I am conscious of the buds, wondering if they will slip out, hearing the sound muffle because the buds shifted. I can usually swim for about 2 songs before a bud loosens and I have to stop for a minute and re-position it or maybe dry it off on a towel. - The iPod controls are very stiff from the waterproofing so you have to push fairly hard when you adjust the volume or switch songs. - There were very few instructions in the box; I watched a youtube video to learn how to place the earbuds properly (pull your ear up, put the bud in at a 45 degree angle). Despite the negatives, I still give this 4 stars, because it is pretty darn amazing to be able to listen to music at all while I swim! It's like a dream come true! Plus, it would be impossible to find a product that fits everyone's ears perfectly, but this comes pretty close and I find that when I breathe through my mouth, my jaw makes my ears move a little so it is natural that the bud would shift; can't fault the product for that. I really think this is the best product you are going to find for music while you swim. I am going to try and swim with a swim cap... I suspect that will keep everything more stable so I can hopefully completely get in the zone and just enjoy the music while swimming. Despite the caveats listed above, this product works well! Its exciting to finally be able to listen to music while I swim!

Nach einigen Testversuchen mit anderen wasserdichten Kopfhörern kann ich diese hier nur empfehlen. Dank der vielzahl an mitgelieferten Ohrstöpsel müsste eigentlich jeder sein Glück finden. Ich benutze die Tannenbaumförmigen Stöpsel und diese halten das Ohr absolut wasserfrei. Der Klang der Kopfhörer ist super, kein Vergleich zu billigeren Modellen, somit tut der schon hohe Preis nicht ganz so weh und ist auch absolut gerechtfertigt. Bin super zufrieden!

This is my second pair of the swimbuds as the first pair finally died after 1 1/2 years of daily use. I have found them to work very well, the sound is good and I am able to get an excellent seal with the included tree fittings. The ability to listen to music while completing my daily laps has completely revolutionized my swimming.

Ho ricevuto le cuffie in una bella confezione contenente diversi tappi auricolari intercambiabili. Peccato che la qualita' del suono e' pessima, i bassi sono pressoché inesistenti. Anche la qualità dei materiali delle cuffie é ridicola (per circa 70 euro). Sembrano le cuffiette distribuite in certi voli aerei. Rese immediatamente. Servizio di reso efficiente.
