This does what it is supposed to do! Easy to use and sturdy. I did my wedding invites with them and they were great!

The eyelet pliers and the metal grommets (1/4") were perfect, easy to use and made for a professional look. I have leather desert boots that did not come with eyelets, the braided shoelaces I use were quickly wearing away the 12 simple holes in the leather . These metal eyelets should put a stop to that, and made for a very good cosmetic finish too. The washers were not packaged, these were spread about the box the whole kit came in. The other components came in plastic wraps. The hole punch worked well enough, but it did not come with a base (AKA anvil), I used one of my own barbell weights as the base to hammer on. The hole punch was dull by the time I was done, I will need to replace it if I do this again.. Unsure of what type of base the manufacturer would recommend or intended to be used.

Bought this to put grommets in wallets so I can wear my wallet chain without having to get boring wallets. The tool works well, and is easy to use. Just wish the grommets were a little more sturdy. While the clamping force is great, and they don't come off even with consistent use, they do get bent pretty easily just living life in my back pocket. If you're not using the grommets in areas where they could get easily pinched and bent this shouldn't be an issue.
