Worked great for adding active airflow to my RV refrigerator. I put a splitter on the outlet inside to plug a usb cube into to power it. I zip tied the fan blowing up the chimney. I mounted the control to the outside of the cover.

This works really well, it gets my fire going much faster now. I just aim it directly at the flame and it starts it up in less than 10 min. The fan speed system also works well. Overall I'm pretty satisfied with the purchase except one thing. The wires at the connection area do look weak and unsupported, and this could be a problem later on as I use it more because if the fan drops a couple times away from the connection wire, i can see it snapping. I don't know what it's supposed to be for, but I'm using it as a bellows for cold smoking with pellets in my Weber smoker. Typically the tube doesn't draw in enough oxygen to keep the pellets lit. Ran a tube from the fan to one of the vent holes. Used it for the first time today and had incredible results. Strongest smoke I've ever seen coming out of that thing, and didn't overheat or catch fire. Perfect amount of air circulation. Probably saved $60-80 off of similar branded products that were designed for the same purpose.

This did not work as I thought it would. The airflow is terrible, it could nearly move the 2mm foam balls. Zero functionality, minimum cooling.

Overall I need this and it works ok. The turbine is slightly out of alignment and depending on how fast it runs it can make unnecessary noise. It moves a lot of air.

I was putting together a PVC drying rack for my Platypus GravityWorks backpacking water filter and wanted a fan to blow air into the plastic bladder bags to speed up drying. I picked this one and it works perfectly for my purposes. The outlet fits loosely into a 1" PVC fitting, and with a few wraps of electrical tape fits just snugly enough for me. On a lower speed setting it is quiet enough to leave running overnight in my bathroom, and now my water filter bags dry in a few hours instead of a few days.
