I have purchased this amazing book for myself and gifted one to my son I’m so happy that he’s very excited to have received it. Mark Nepi is brilliantly written and inspirational. Truly a great book to read.

A must have!

I keep this book by my bedside. Reading it is a great way to begin the day. It keeps me centred and focused on what really matters. I love Mark's way with words and his gentle approach to life. I can think of no kinder or more compassionate person to guide me through the joys and sorrows and ups and downs of life. He is an inspirational writer.

I have never been keen on modern poetry but he writes well and with deep thought . I use it daily though find some of the concepts difficult

I love this book. It is my daily companion and gives me the inspiration I need to cope with a very difficult life situation and find the peace and equanimity necessary to face stage 4 cancer and not give in to our cultural fear of the disease. It consists of 365 perceptive and poetically written essays to show you how to find the jewels in your life circumstances. As I read somewhere, 'what's in the way is the way'. The Book of Awakening shines a light on the way I have to walk and its words mean even more to me because it is written by someone who also got well from cancer. A guiding hand indeed, for anyone who wishes to transform difficulties into friends and teachers.

So much to learn in such little tidbits. When reading at the start of the day it really helps bring your day into perspective and puts me in a good and positive mood. Honestly did not expect to love this book as much as I do, and i will definitely buy more copies to gift family and friends.

I ordered this book because people say it is very good. i was very impressed with it and it is the kind you can read daily and reflect on it all day!
