I bought these, along with other supplements, after stopping generic Zoloft cold-turkey (do NOT do that, taper down very slowly...I did a deep dive into depression, anxiety). I love the taste of these, & take them several times a day. Always before going to bed. They do seem to keep my moods more even. Several reviews said the tablets are very hard, one even broke a tooth. The tabs in my bottle were definitely harder than those bought elsewhere -- like they're over-cooked, so to speak -- but not rock-hard. Still, I'll buy elsewhere in the future, as they're softer.

Works wonderfully

Ok, so long story short! Recently I was told by my psych that I was going to be tapered off my 3mg mg of clonazepam that I have been on for 25yrs!! Ugh!! I set out on a quest to find any & all alternative treatments for anxiety relief, panic attacks, & sleep! I stumbled upon these two after looking on Amazon for my daily L-methylfolate 15mg; which is also a GODSEND...I MIGHT LIKE TO ADD!! Anyway, I'm a skeptic by nature as a biologist in medical field; but these two products are truly heavenly & I can truly tell a significant difference the nights that I forget to chew 2 tabs of each...which are pretty tasty, I might add! I calm down quicker, am able to actually get to sleep quicker and sleep better on the nights I take them!! I NEVER use alternative treatments for my mental health care; but, these two products actually work!! And they work better together, I think! They both have their own independent merits & due to the fact that they are a bit pricey for a months worth(1 bottle)...you truly have to decide if you are able to splurge to get yourself some anxiety, panic, and sleep relief?? You are worth It...lol ❤

I had previously used the Now company’s chewable GABA product but that doesn’t seem to be available currently so I tried this product. It’s just as effective; I prefer to have a chewable version for the times that I wake up during the night. GABA reduces my restless legs issue and helps me sleep. Just be warned that you could fracture a tooth if you try to chomp down on these. They would make a great dog chew product. I have to to moisten them with saliva or even water for a minute or so before I can actually grind and chew them. So they are chewable but be careful.

Scared to take it, due to wet looking chemical spots on the tablets. I saw another review stating the same and mine looks identical to theirs. Now I’m scared to take it.

Sleep is so important and this helps me get back to sleep. Good value for money. Getting to sleep is priceless

Different product arrived.

I recently tried a pharmaceutical grade version of this in a test size bottle to see if it would help with stress/anxiety - I can honestly say that with this being the same dosage, it had the same effect, tasted just as great, has great ingredients, and was probably about half the cost! I have used this a few times now, and I find that although the bottle says you can take 1 or 2 tablets at a time, 1 tablet was the right amount to give me the calming effect that I was looking for while still allowing me to function normally. 2 tablets seemed to be just a bit too strong for me, and made me a little too relaxed to the point that I wasn't drowsy, but also probably wouldn't say no to the opportunity to have a nap. My fiance has also used this a few times now as well, to help with his social anxiety - he noticed a drastic and positive effect after only the first use (he took it half an hour before having to be in a very busy and social place) and he told me after leaving the event, hours later, that it was probably the first time he ever felt "normal" in a situation like that. We have both noticed very similar results from the Pharma GABA, with no side effects at all (this being a HUGE positive factor.) This has proven to be a really great product in my search for help with anxiety, and I can easily say that I have now added it to my arsenal of tools to help with anxiety/stress when I feel that I really need some relief from the mental and physical symptoms of anxiety.

The thing with natural supplements is that they work really well for some people and not for others, so you'll see some raving reviews and some that give it one star because 'it doesn't work at all'. GABA works for me really well - most of the time - when I have trouble falling asleep. I take two pills (I find that one is not enough) with 500mg of Inositol (vitamin B8) and sometimes magnesium. Even if it doesn't immediately help me fall asleep, it induces a very relaxed, restful state. There are other natural herbs that may really help - there is a lot of legitimate research involving a combination of Valerian and Lemon Balm (which saved me during a period of acute, severe insomnia, after I developed resistance to Z-drugs). Again, these supplement may do wonders for you or may not, but they are definitely worth trying and with some level of persistence until you find the right dosage and combination.

I ordered this, as my doctor made the suggestion for me to take this to calm my nerves and stress levels, as I didn’t want to take any meds. I decided to give GABA a try, and I must say it works wonders just what I needed to calm me down. Age 50 can be tricky, I would recommend giving this a try. My husband now at times even says “ have you taken your GABA” lol well worth the money and easy to chew.

I'm a natural anxious person, with a very short temper, and these have helped me stay calmer throughout the day. I'm on a very stressful period with my studies and I need these to stay calm and concentrate better. I do think they work and I even used 1 before my last exam and calmed me so I can better concentrate. I wish I knew about these in my teenage years. I love them, and I try to use them only when I feel my days are heavy, because I don't want the effect to wear off overtime. But yes if you need some anxiety relaxer this is great and depending on what level of anxiety you are on you may need a couple of these throughout the day. Does not cause any somnolence, just a very clear head in my opinion. I do think I may try the 250mg ones later, just to see on what extend it is better.
