Depend Night Defense Adult Diapers for Women, Large, 14 Count

I bought these with a lot of hesitancy but I have many fractured and collapsed vertebrae in my spine and lost 5 inches in height causing a lot of nerve impingement. And unfortunately, much to my horror, bowel and bladder incontinence.. I finally broke down after cleaning up too many accidents, the Depends Night Defense. Please do measure yourself as directed and go by their size guide. I ended up with an XL,which I feared wouldn’t be big enough but they fit perfectly. I have some trouble getting them on because I can’t bend over much and a long time chronic illness has taken most of my muscle strength so even raising my leg,to put my foot through the leg opening, is challenging! I have a lot of gastrointestinal problems and a lot of bloating so I can’t tolerate tight clothes or waistbands. But I have no problem with the Depends. They not only fit but they’re comfortable. The waistband is very soft and stretchy and I just fold it over a bit. They fit perfectly and I hardly notice wearing them but I no longer have that terrible fear of incontinence and damaging clothes and furniture. This may be too much info but last night as usual, I had to pee really badly and ,as usual, couldn’t get off the couch (where I sleep) in time so I quit trying to fight it. Then being so sleepy and having difficulty getting off the couch (no strength)mi just flopped back down and went back to sleep! In the morning, the diaper was loaded so to speak, but everything else was dry! I was very pleased. Those nighttime trips to the commode or bathroom are a nightmare for me which is humbling to admit. They Åre leakproof for sure! And comfortable. Just buy the right size according to the measurements given. Yes, they’re expensive but I got a huge box that will last a long time I hope. At any rate, they are worth the cost in preventing accidents and peace of mind.

I order these Depend Night Defense Adult Diapers regularly for my elderly mother, and they work great for her. She needs reliable overnight protection, and these have been a real help. They stay secure, keep her dry through the night, and don’t leak even when she shifts around in bed. The fit is comfortable and not bulky, so she can move and sleep without feeling restricted. I’ve tried other brands, but these consistently perform better for nighttime use. Easy to put on, soft against the skin, and give both of us peace of mind. Use: elder care. I'm reviewing three incontinence products, for comparison. Depend Night Defense has been excellent in terms of fit, absorption (quantity and quality), and preventing leakage, even overnight. I bought the medium (per the chart) and it fits great; plenty of stretch. The absorption easily handled two 'wee's and/or one wee and a poo (I'm being delicate here, play along please!) with NO leakage! There is no smell to the product, so it is discreet. I have not noticed any skin irritation. Five stars, no complaints. Always Discreet Boutique is excellent in terms of absorption and preventing leakage (daytime use). However, I would recommend sizing up, as the Medium is smaller than the Depend Medium, above. They easily handle either one 'wee' and/or 'poo' with no leakage. They do have a "feminine product" scent, though it is not overpowering. For a couple hours, you will catch whiffs of this distinctive scent. No skin irritation that I've noticed. Four stars (would be five stars, but for the fit). Tena Stylish "Super Plus Heavy" was a disappointment in comparison. I bought Large instead of Medium, as recommended by many reviewers. The width/waist was good, but they fit more like hipsters than briefs. The back coverage was insufficient, and they leaked through to the seat of the pants, even though I did not use it for bedtime/laying prone. Since I had to change them out about two hours after putting them on, I can't speak to skin irritation. They do not have any scent. Two stars.

I do not personally think these are worth the extra costs. They DO hold slightly more liquid than the regular depends. But, definitely not ALL NIGHT protection for a Dementia/Alzheimer's patient. They also leak pretty badly. I still have to wash the pee mat, top sheets and pajamas every morning. Sometimes even the pillows. She wakes up every morning with her pajamas completely wet, top to bottom. With that said. I doubt that other all night protection works any better. I am willing to try a few alternatives. SO, please don't take this review as completely negative. This is MY personal experience with MY mother. I realize that they might be perfect for someone else. As, they DO absorb more than the standard versions.

Get the right size. They work great. Hold a lot of fluid. Just crinkle up the stiff pad it will soften, And then carefully get pad into just the right spots after u pull up briefs. These are the best out there.

Same great product. Overnights are expensive but true to size and even generous. Quality is great. HOWEVER THE SAME SIZE IN 7 drop pkg. HAS SHRUNK IN SIZE. They have updated material to "SOFT AND QUIET". To compensate the cost of upgrading they sacrificed material and made this same size smaller . They turned it into a hipster. This now reaches just below the navel and runs low on backside. Now I have to go up a size and this means I have to pay more for larger size pkg. . Depends is squeezing us into spending more money to justify materials needed to promote "QUIETER AND SOFTER MATERIAL " go somewhere else drop this mfg and buy ALWAYS BRAND

I’ve tried several brands and different sizes but these are the best by far. They are comfortable and the fit is perfect for me. All the others were saggy and not good under slacks. I will continue to purchase these.

Are not as absorbent as advertised.

They are exactly as described very absorbent. I switched to these instead of overnight poise pads and difference is fantastic. A bit bulky but they do what they are meant to do which is stop leakage.

The person I caregive for tried these for the first time last night, and they actually work! They truly do hold more without leaking!! Will definitely be buying again.
