I enjoy using my Masterbuilt 560 gravity smoker, but less enthused about dragging out an extension cord every time I want to cook. It's unsightly, a trip hazard, and just an extra step from finished food. Additionally, the strain relief for the controller's power cable is minimal to non-existent. This can cause the power cable to be damaged over time. I use this cable to power the controller from a large portable charger instead. You want one that supports USB-PD at 12V for this cable to work properly. This setup works great and addresses all the issues I had with plugging the smoker into the wall.

This was purchased to put another Power Bank to a USB C connection of a SBC. It worked well and it still works.

Works perfectly with my Masterbuilt Gravity grill/ smoker. Just make sure you have a USB power bank that supports USB C PD.

After trying 2 other similar cables this one finally worked as advertised. Ensure your power source is USB-C PD and capable of 12V DC output. The cable has a chip that requests 12V from the source via PD protocol and seems to work great so far. It's about 3ft in length so a good size. Would have been nice to see 2ft versions as well tho for more versatility.

I suppose I should have taken others' reviews more pointedly. Using multiple 12V-capable USB-C PD power supplies, it consistently outputs 8.8V, not 12. In principle this should be a simple device to engineer correctly. I have USB-to-PD barrel adaptors for older Dell laptops that deliver the proper voltage regardless of the variety of in-spec power supplies I connect. Additionally, as others have stated, the center barrel on the plug is 2.1mm, which is NOT compatible with a socket having a 2.5mm center pin. It's too small. I bought this to add flexibility, consolidate, and simplify the variety of power supplies I have to carry around. This cord accomplishes non of these.

Works for HDZero BoxPro to adapt USB C battery packs to the HMD.

I use this cable in reverse to the way described. I have a 12v supply with barrel jack on my Mini UPS, and I use it to supply 12V into my travel router via USB-C. It works just fine.

It is quality and feels good but I had no chance to use it since my astrophotography rig is not ready. The cable felt good quality. One of the end is 5525 but suitable for 5521 and the other end is type-c.
