Fits perfectly in my i3
I'm giving the filter 5 stars for now - I just replaced the old filter today - but I'll update the rating in a few months if there's a need. I will give BMW 2 stars for making the filter housing hard to access in my 2015 i3. All in all, it took about 20 minutes. I replaced the air filter of my Mazda last week and it took about 5 minutes.

Fits good. But a total pain to access. 8mm nuts, remove top panel under glovebox. Torx screw to remove side triangular panel. Plastic door near firewall.
