★Book Basics★Genre : - Contemporary RomanceSeries : - Book 4 in the Until Series about the Mayson brothers..Writing - First person Dual POV. Some minor editing/continuity errors, but only very minorMain Characters : Sophie Grates - School librarian. Very shy and insecure but still manages to dress like the very image of a sex kitten librarian!Nico Mayson - tattoos, faux-hawked bounty hunter. OTT possessive alpha.Love triangle? - NoCheating? - NoHEA? - YesWould I read more by this author? - YesRating - 3.5 rounded up to 4 stars.★Review★So, if you have read the series, you know the Mayson curse! Apparently when a Mayson man meets his one, or his "Boom" that is it! It is all systems go!Once you are willing to just go with it, and just take the insta possessive love as fact and go with the flow, it is easier to enjoy the books for what they are!I have to admit, I did not really like the first 2, although book 2 was an improvement over book 1, book 3 I loved, and this was probably on a par with book 3. Or maybe I have just succumbed to the guilty pleasure of it all!So, Nico and Sophie meet. Nico feels his "boom" which is rather inconvenient for him, but he is not going to fight it.Sophie however, is very insecure and shy and scared, due to a traumatic even in her past. At times it was a bit hard to take how terrified of life she really was, so many years after the fact. I struggled sometimes with her character. Her complete fear of living and coming out of her shell. But who is to say, how something like that could affect her, so soon after the death of a parent, and losing another parent in an altogether different way.And Nico, once he gets in there with Sophie, it is all systems go for him. He wants her knocked up, married and having met the family and he is not all that concerned what order that comes in!Again though, and this has been my previous complaint with the previous books, the jumping so many months ahead, actually makes the story weaker, we miss the build up, the getting to know you, the best parts imo! So much time is covered in the 238 pages (according to Amazon) it feels almost like the author wants to fit in so much story and drama, that none of it is ever fully developed and explored as in depth as it should be. It all ends up feeling a bit rushed and flat. It is hard to get a proper emotional connection to the characters due to how fast the story goes.Writing - there were a few minor editing issues, such as the odd missed word here and there. Also, it is mentioned Asher and November have four girls at the start of the book, then nearer the end, they have only three. It also felt a bit too much like the author was setting up her next series! With Kendall and his vague and mysterious women issues, and the same with Leo. It added nothing to this story at all, and given how quick it moves, it is just extra words that would have been better given to Nico and Sophie and giving their book some depth. But I enjoyed it in the same way I enjoy a Greggs Sausage roll! It is not really going to fill me up, I know what I am getting and I will easily forget about it as soon as I am finished, but damn is it enjoyable at the time!

The Mayson Men a Must Read Series!
Nico was so loveable in this that it was hard to put this book down. I loved how he found his boom by returning Sophie’s phone and how he was so lost and instantly began fantasising about her shy librarian looks lol! Sophie was definitely a women who suffered from fears stemming from her past, she avoided relationships and never allowed anyone to get close to her except for her best friend Maggie. Her world revolved around work with no time for play, so when Nico returned her lost phone, Sophie’s world was definitely turned upside down. She tried to fight off her attraction for Nico by denying him dates, but as soon as Nico saw his boom he kept reeling Sophie in until she was his. Nico was so patient, attentive and possessive towards her, saying all the right words that made you swoon all over him. This Mayson brother showed another side to what his tattoos portrayed never mind his ergh hmm lol! Nico was so crazy in love with Sophie, that there wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for her, and that meant helping confront her fears without pushing her too far, and bringing out her confidence. The guy just forgot himself everytime she was in his arms and that lead to his mission to make Sophie his forever, with child of course lol! Until Nico has more of the Mayson family together which I thrived on, and the kids were brilliant especially Jax with his girls are gross comments lol. It was beautiful to see November, Liz, Lilly and Sophie all together. I loved the suspense side to this, it reminded me of why I also loved Until November which is my favourite out of the series. Until Nico is a fun and romantic read because Aurora Rose Reynolds understands the definition of what sexy and sweet possessive alpha males are, and she delivered us not only Nico but three other amazing men and how they got caught up in their booms lol! The Until series sits proudly on my can’t live without shelf, because I totally fell in love with the Mayson brothers, I have really enjoyed reading how each notorious brother found their women because they are so perfect for each other, these books are a must read. If I had any niggle it would be with Cash and Lilly’s story, I so wanted them to have more kids as they suffered the most separation, and they really deserved more happiness! I adore the Mayson men and each book highlights why they make my book boyfriend list. I would love to read how Mr Mayson and Ma got together, as I’m sure he could give his son's a run for their money lol! I’m super excited to read how the next generation fall for their booms along with Kenton and Sven’s story.

Everything you could want !
This is the the fourth book of the first generation Mayson’s and each book has me gripped from start to finish.Nico Mayson has thought god years that the Mayson curse was nothing but a lie but after watching each of his brothers her their “BOOM” he’s certainly a believer. The hard tough tattooed bounty hunter falls for Sophie the minute he lays eyes upon her and trying to escape this feeling is impossible. Never when he found a phone would he have guessed that he’d meet his one but he knows from the start that Sophie is afraid and keeping secrets he’s determined to claim her in every way heart, soul and body. He pursues her and pushes her until he has her and the family he’s suddenly craving. Can he break her walls down and get her to love him or will danger take her away from him?Sophie is new to Tennessee, she’s a shy sweet librarian just trying to build herself a life away from the memories that continue to haunt her. Nico takes her by surprise from the moment they meet he looks at her and his eyes soften, he looks like a typical bad boy with his tattoos and attitude but she sees beneath the exterior and for the first time since she was attacked she wants more with someone. Can she let her guard down and trust Nico as much as she wants too or will the danger she’s now facing take away her happiness again? It’s a fabulous read with everything you could want, suspense, danger, laughter, love and lots of heat.
