Smelly oily oil for a nighty lighty lantern
What can I say about CUQOO (pronounced "cuckoo" but with a "kw" sound, where "Q" is), citronella lamp oil? Firstly, it's texture is oily and slippery. Very slippery. The bottle takes on the persona of a wet bar of soap if the oil slicks down the smooth, ribbed surface of the shiny black plastic container... As such I highly recommend wearing non-latex rubber gloves whilst handling, in case you end up slopping it everywhere but into an open filler nozzle - like I did. Employ a device such as a funnel. You will thank me later. But don't overfill, or risk unsightly (and potentially flammable) seepage... Its scent is a heady combination of airfield kerosene, filthy engine oil sumps and lemon Fairy Liquid. But don't attempt to wash your dishes with it, lube your pistons or refuel a jet aircraft. It is intended for none of those purposes (I learned the hard way - believe me!). However, if you have any kind of garden oil burning lanterns, then CUQOO is for YOU-OO! It engorges a proudly exposed wick very nicely, and a lively flame positively spurts forth (I recommend a long gas lighter, or lighted taper to achieve succesful conflagration). You will attain a good length of burn, with a bright orange flickering flame. Emits a grey smoke with a hint of citrus, which is just what you need if attempting to deter those pesky wee flying biting denizens of the Scottish outdoors! Marvellous!

Decent Product
Seems like a decent product. Doesn't pour out as such, more of a squirty bottle which got messy. Although with a knife or screw driver you can prise the inner cap out and use as a normal bottle. Burnt a bit smokey at first but but after 20 or so seconds, once it got going it was burning clean and smelt as expected so fingers crossed it does the job. You need a short wick for it to burn clean, longer wick creates quite a bit of smoke, however it's not unpleasant and definitely keeps the bugs away. Only negative was the fact one bottle leaked during transit and soaked the packaging. Can't tell if this was a result of a bottle not sealed properly or careless handling. Either way I didn't lose much at all so not a huge issue. This is and the annoyance of it being a squirty type bottle are the only reason I took a star off

So far so good.
Tried for the first time yesterday. Easy to fill the container. Used the product in oil torch. Win for us, as we didn’t get bit by local mosquitoes. So far so good. Will use them the rest of summer for our bowling club and update accordingly.
