Durability I can't rate yet - still, to me, it appears sturdy enough to serve its purpose. In breezier or high-gusting conditions, setting outer side facing the wind direction might help. Wind resistance: No, with winds above 20 mph, I wouldn't expect the best performance, and might refrain from setting this up at all. (For reasonable limitations, I don't deduct stars.) Also, while camping, I use weighted bags for extra hold with all types of shade shelters - the stakes (or "nails") included with this might indeed help anchor it, but I'd use weighted somethings too, no matter what. Compactness - yes. Design - easy to set up and carry - lightweight enough. Comfort: Many patios, balconies, campsites, and picnic areas lack shade, and this definitely could provide some!

This AMMSUN shade umbrella has many uses. I take it to the beach with me so I can relax in my chair rather than sit on the hard sand all the time. I love this thing. It can be used at the football game to keep the rain off of you or the sun out of your eyes. It can be used at the beach at the baseball game. Easy to set up easy to pack away I have gotten many compliments on this. I love that it’s totally adjustable. You can put it down low up high. We are all close to 6 feet and my son is actually 6 foot four and if we put it all the way up, he can stand under it.

Best purchase I've make all summer. This came in handy when there was no shade at my sons baseball games or at the park. Its simple to use and easy to carry. I love how it comes with cup holders and a bag foe storage. The few times we used it during a windy day, it was very resistant. Easy to open, tilting, and looks great.

This is a great umbrella. It is light weight. It is easy to put up and comes apart easily. It fits in the back of our car or truck . It is not bulky. We never had a problem with it tipping over when it was breezy. I am sure this would do great at the beach, I just haven't been able to try it there yet, even though I only live a mile away.

I love this umbrella. It is exactly what I have been searching for. I was skeptical with some of the reviews I read but I have had a great experience. - accurate description - easy set up, less than 2min - when weighted down with a pool bag on the hooks it withstood high wind gusts at my pool (I kept it low, not at the 6-7 feet full height) - pretty color and durable fabric - the weight, the tiltability, the coverage and foldability - all excellent I highly recommend.

We were looking for a way to block the sun at soccer tournaments that would be flexible and easy to move as the sun changed position over the course of the day. This couldn't have been better, and in fact we must have sent the link to this umbrella to like 5 parents at the last tournament. WIND: We live in Illinois where it's always either Cold Wind Season or Hot Wind Season. Either way, anything you use outside has to stand up to the wind. This umbrella absolutely does. The tent stakes they give you to hold it down have worked perfectly for multiple windy tournaments with no problems FLEXIBILITY: Unlike chairs with canopies or the umbrellas you bolt onto a chair, this umbrella can be physically moved and tilted to adjust throughout the day. It's also big enough that 3-5 adults (depending on time of day) can sit comfortably in the shade. It can also be made tall or short enough that it doesn't block our view of the field. PORTABILITY: It's lightweight, the carry bag is sturdy, and it's easy to just throw in our sports wagon along with our chairs. OVERALL: Could not love this umbrella more. Perfect for soccer. We're ordering a second one for our team's bench for next season!

I've had Wondershades for years and my latest just broke, so I wanted a new one ASAP. I found this AMMSUN brand and it was eligible for next day delivery and was the same price, so I bought the AMMSUN. I was pleasantly surprised to find how much sturdier it was. It comes with a storage/carrier bag and can be carried around, but it's definitely more hefty than the other brand. The fabric of the umbrella is also thicker and sturdier and the circumference of the umbrella is larger at 6.5ft versus 5ft for the Wondershade. It was also easy to assemble. You can adjust the height, but you have to loosen the knobbed screw first, then lower, then re-tighten it. Not a big deal, but this was much easier to do on the Wondershade. Wondershade has a lever you can release to lower it, then just push the lever back down to tighten it wherever you want the height to be. Also, with Wondershade, you can buy just a replacement umbrella instead of buying the entire assembly. I did have to replace the umbrella several times over several years, though. I rated the AMMSUN at a 5 for now, but this could potentially change over time depending on how it holds up and for how long. The Wond
