No.1. I bought VTOMAN Jump 1000 Power Station and VTOMAN Jump 1500 Extra Battery november 2023.I use it all daily and it works great. I measured the capacity when I bought it and the capacity now. And you know what??? Still the same capacity!!! Still works perfectly! Since last year I have pulled out 412 kWh and still perfect!I recommend it to all customers in my store. And this is not an advertisement. This is the truth.It is known that sometimes something breaks down for someone. But I am sure that the product is worth the money.THANK YOU VTOMAN!!!

PLEASE Please please avoid buying these units. I purchased the battery and jump pack and March'24 and have honestly had no end of problems with charging, power dump and today won't charge at all. Customer service have been deliberately avoiding having to return and refund the items and now I am too late anyway and SEVERAL HUNDRED POUNDS down the swanney. It's extremely frustrating and I'm sure there are some who think these are the mutts nuts. I've been buying batteries of this ilk since available... genuinely, worst out there for reliability, value for money and quality. Even if on offer...do not be tempted. Right, I'm off to find a better unit...ppppffft 🙄

Superb bit of kit in my opinion.I'm using it for fishing trips.It keeps my diesel heater, 12v cool box and laptop going for 72 hours, plus occasionally charging my phone and head torch, with plenty of power to spare.

The user experience of having the extension battery is sub-optimal. Those front-panel capacity lights provide little granularity and are very bright blue. Once linked to the main unit, every time the unit wakes up, it needs a second or two to establish the connection to the extension battery before it will respond to any power-on button pushes. The LCD display becomes a little more confusing as well – during charging, the percentage indication only reflects the internal battery capacity. If charging exceeds the discharge rate, the time and wattage numbers flash, and the time reflects the time to full charge for the whole unit consisting of both batteries. But if charging does not exceed the discharge rate, then the time and wattage numbers remain solid and the discharge time will reflect time to discharge of either the external battery (if it’s currently being charged) or the internal battery (if the external battery is not being charged). During discharge, the percentage and time reflects the status of the whole unit, but it seems that 50% is assumed to be external and 50% is assumed to be internal, even though the actual ratio of capacity is not balanced 828Wh/1548WhPerhaps the most annoying thing is that the cut-over between extension battery and main battery is not seamless. During discharge, whenever the external battery runs out, the whole power station shuts down and must be manually re-activated to restart on the internal battery. Which battery is used is based on a simple rule – when discharging, external battery first; when recharging, internal battery first. This results in the external battery likely doing more of the hard cycling work (and perhaps not reaching full charge) in many cases and the internal battery sitting at a high SoC all the time, neither of which are particularly good for the LiFePO4 cells.There is also an edge case which makes things very inconvenient – whenever the extension battery runs out on discharging (e.g. running an AC appliance) while charging (slowly) from solar, the power station will shut down but this will put a tiny bit of charge into the extension battery. Attempting to power up will cause the extension battery to drain to zero, shutting the power station down immediately. The only way to break the loop is to unplug the extension power station, let the internal battery drain a little before plugging it back in – but this adds wear to the plug interface which is not ideal either.When it comes down to charging, adding so much capacity to the system really makes it “lopsided”. As the main power station can really only ingest power at about 200W maximum. Most places have just about five peak-sun-hours per day, so it’s not possible to charge the unit fully in just a day assuming you had well-matched solar panels and a clear day. When under some load during the day, it could take several days to charge up. Because the input doesn’t scale with increasing the capacity, there may be a chance your solar panels could generate more energy but the power station’s input becomes the limiting factor, thus you end up throwing away energy that you could have otherwise been able to absorb (e.g. say with two power stations charging simultaneously).

Unreliable and temperamental battery which also did not have the stated capacity even allowing for invertor of main station. Customer service non existent so Amazon sorted it out in the end - terrible product and terrible customer service

I've had the VTOMAN 1500X for a while, it works fantastic, haven't found something it won't power yet, used for personal use, site work & camping. Recently went ahead and ordered the extra battery, ordered on Monday, schedule delivery Sat but arrived early Wednesday, couldn't be more chuffed!
