A good kick too it beautiful, add garlic,coriander and lime
So so glad I took a chance on this, the reviews weren't good , do I decided if you don't try you don't know. Now I've eaten proper mexican food , with proper corn wraps,( not the floured ones completely different taste) refried beans, and tongue , yes tongue and mole ,that's how authentic. So I wasn't really expecting anything if this at all. I was pleasantly surprised , it was more than tasty and spicy hitting all the right notes I even had to put yoghurt with it to tone down the spices a bit, the flavour was great but needed a bit more fresh garlic lime and fresh coriander once I did that it was stunning not much added either, the jackfruit huge chunks packed full in the tin had to prose it out brilliant , we had it with a red rice and wild black rice gourmet merchant pack for a quick meal with the merchant Gourmet chilli beans and lentils which mimic refried beans perfectly , great all if it for a vegan meal , with half an avocado, spring onions and vine tomatoes, and sweet corn. The wraps I always buy from Mexican Crocer , they are proper Corn Tortillas with no flour so Gluten Free too and have that beautiful Mexican corn distinctive Tate. So we had a completely Gluten Free Vegan Fast Meal and it did not disappoint . My sister who is a bit fussy normally especially with mexican food , said it was stunning, and asked to buy some more for a day when we need quick and healthy but tasty too. I definitely recommend this one, trying the green tai curry will let you know that's also had bad reviews , we will see hope it has a good bit of lemon grass and a good folio of coconut cream.

Great for burritos
Product came on time, and the jackfruit was delicious. I used it in a burrito and my wife loved it so much she ordered more in to make them in the cafe she's the head chef of.

Very poor keep by date
Really disappointed, needs using by end of month. Won't be buying again.

Great alternative to meat
Used this in Mexican cooking when we have guests who are vegetarian. Tasty, easy to cook and filling
