McFarlane Toys Borderlands Handsome Jack Collectible Action Figure

One issue that seems to be with every Borderlands figure is articulation. I assume, because of how they dress, it is difficult to make them very flexible. However, this increases their appearances as they always look very accurate to their video game counterparts. They got every one of his details, except his class mod. It's kind of an important detail for the character, I don't understand why they excluded that from him or how they could've potentially missed it. But aside from that, he's really good. He comes with an elevated stand, an unmasked head, the vault key, and a Hyperion smg. The stand is nice, but makes putting all the figures together weird as not all of them have this elevated stand. Some come with flat ones, which throws off their actual sizes for comparison. The vault key is actually capable of being split into its three parts. Allowing you to recreate its assembly just like the game. And for the Hyperion gun. Most action figures tend to have hands molded to wield the accessories they come with, however, this is not the case for two of the Borderlands figures: Handsome Jack and Zer0. For some reason, they decided to put a peg onto Jack's hand, so the only way he can hold the gun is by putting his hand peg through the designated hole in the gun. He cannot hold anything else in that hand. If that peg breaks and you fail to glue it, he will never be capable of holding his only accessory. The vault key can't be held at all, so it doesn't count. Such a stupid decision. As good as this figure is, with him being kind of up there in price, his lack of great articulation, and the hand peg, I'd really only recommend him for collectors.

I love Jack so much and this is a near flawless action figure in my opinion - the only thing he's missing is his pocket watch/cloak device. He comes with two heads - with and without mask - as well as a vault key and a Hyperion assault rifle. Honestly he's a wonderful little figure and he's great for display.

The figure looks great. It was tricky getting the gun into his hand at first, but after being patient I was able to get it in his hand with no problems. He has several points of articulation, so it is easy to get him into a pose of your choosing. If you are a Handsome Jack or Borderlands fan, would definitely recommend picking this up...especially with a price below $20. You won't find a better Borderlands or Handsome Jack figure for this price. He looks nice standing next to McFarlane's Tiny Tina figure. Great representation of Handsome Jack.

So, I love this figure. I set it up at my office and every time I look at it, I pat myself on the back for buying it. Now, this figure isn't perfect, but for the price, it's a good deal. So, Jack comes with: 2 heads, a Hyperion gun, a stand, a code for a key in the game, and a vault key. The gun has an obvious hand to slot into. There's a tiny peg on his palm for the gun to go into, but it takes a little effort to fit the gun into place because his hand is shaped as if he's already holding it. The heads are just his masked look and the mask removed. The only issue I had with removing the heads and switching them is that it takes a little more effort to put the head back properly on his neck. It feels like the unmasked head has more detail to it, but I guess that makes sense since the other is supposed to be him wearing a "perfect" version of his face. The vault key doesn't have a special place to go. Jack can't really hold it, and there's no slot to put it in. Jack can be positioned a bit too. His arms move and so do his legs to a certain point. He can also be moved at the waist a bit. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. If you're a fan of the Borderlands series or plan on giving someone who is a gift, I'd recommend this figure.

I love Borderlands. I do. I love Handsome Jack. But I am not a fan of McFarlane toys, and I forgot that. While this replica of Handsome Jack is in fact, amazing - the addition of the unmasked head is one of my favorite things, because it's my favorite Handsome Jack - the quality, as with all McFarlane toys, looks like a three year old decided to try and color the dang thing. Jack, while once fearless and absolutely mad in game, looks like a dopey, mentally challenged version of his video game counterpart. It looks cheaply produced, and though most of the colors are correct, they seem off. This could have been made so much better if it wasn't so poorly mass produced. Maybe the machine malfunctioned; maybe whatever painted on and did the detailing was off that day... but it looks like crap. It's still an awesome product though, even if it looks like garbage and the stand it came with is hollow on the inside, frequently causing my statue to fall off of my desk in the middle of the night and scare me out of a sound sleep. I've since learned a little bit of Blu-Tack helps tremendously from keeping my poor Jacky Boy from startling me in the dead of night, but it doesn't work all the time. It's still great. I love Handsome Jack, so this was worth it.

He sits in front of my tv with all my other bl figures, looks very coll💪👍

This figure is pretty cool. It is well articulated and the gun that comes with him is neat. The only drawback for me is I would prefer a happier Jack. A smirk or some such. This jack has the face i imagine jack having just before things went bad fir him in borderlands 2. Still, a pretty awesome figure.

Shipped fast! This thing looks so impressive in person. Great paint job and detail. Worth buying. Now if we could only get butt stallion!!❤
