I was hesitant to replace my old plastic seat, thinking they were all pretty much the same. I was so wrong! Nice looking toilet seat but it is not soft close as stated which I specifically ordered as I have small grandchildren and don’t want them to break toilet xx

Nice toilet seat once you figure out how to install it. You can’t tighten the nuts on the bolts because the bolts are turning around and there’s no way to hold the bolt from the top. The design seems to be absolutely terrible. Until you google other products with the same hinge mechanism who has better instructions how to install them. The small plastic washer (and the big one too obviously) goes on top and the plastic nut like thing goes from under the toilet followed by the metal washer and nut.

Heavy, quality item. Attractive colour, & easy to install. No cold Bum!

The seat was delivered quickly but did not have the features expected, i.e. it was not soft close, the hinges were chrome coloured not brass coloured, and was not sturdy but overall poor quality for the price paid.

It is not soft close and would be better if it was!’ Looks a bit shiney and naff

Its a good price and doesnt look bad. If you need something better it’s going to be significantly more expensive Update. After several weeks the hinges continuously come loose. The whole thing seems flimsy and low rent. Not recommended.
