Very late review, but probably more useful because of it. I’ve had this phone holder for around three years and still use it regularly. I’ve owned quite a few similar mounts over the years and most of them sounded great on paper but didn’t last long. This one genuinely has.I use it often for making videos and it’s been consistently reliable. The clamp holds the phone securely, the adjustments are smooth, and the 360-degree rotation still works properly after years of use. If there’s nothing suitable to attach it to, it can also be mounted on a tripod, which makes it very versatile.Fit depends on the phone case — with older cases I sometimes had to remove the phone, but with my current case it fits perfectly. It’s also been dropped more times than I’d like to admit and is still working without any issues. Nothing loose, nothing broken.Solid, well-made, and clearly built to last. If you’re after something that won’t need replacing after a few months, this is it. Would definitely buy again

Really good phone holder, exactly as described. It was very easy to install and feels sturdy and well made. It holds my phone securely without any unnecessary movement, even while driving (so is not only for the flight). I also like that it’s easy to put the phone in and take it out when needed. Overall, a great product and very good value for money. I would definitely recommend it.

Really useful for travel. Sturdy, small enough to fit in a bag and adaptable to fit a heavier phone (iPhone 14 pro). Very good value for money.

Great product to hold phone etc so you or a child can be hands free. Used on the plane, around the pool and in the car since home. It does go in to any position you need it to go in. It's strong enough not to fall apart or be broken easily. It's easy to use when you get used to it. It did take a few attempts to turn and twist it before I got the hang of twisting into the correct position. That was my only issue when first using. I would recommend this product as I've tried others and they haven't lasted that long or didn't rotate as required.

Although this is advertised as something to hold your phone on the seat in front of you on a plane there are many more uses to be found with a bit of imagination.The clamp for the holder has a maximum opening of 40mm/1.57". This is sufficient to fix it onto a lot of table tops, kitchen cabinets, chair arms (including some wheelchairs) etc. It has a flat, rubber base so it can even be used freestanding in some places.The phone holder itself (53mm/2.09" - 96mm/3.78" opening) can then be rotated in 3 dimensions.I have been able to use the holder instead of a tripod for both my phone and a compact camera and to mount a bluetooth speaker to a cabinet.All in all a fun little widget.

Die MiiKARE Handyhalterung für Flugzeuge hat sich auf meinem letzten Flug als echt nützlich erwiesen. Gerade bei längeren Strecken ist es angenehm, das Handy einfach fixieren zu können, statt es die ganze Zeit in der Hand zu halten.Die Befestigung klappt problemlos am Klapptisch, und das Handy sitzt stabil. Besonders praktisch ist, dass sich der Winkel flexibel einstellen lässt, so findet man schnell eine bequeme Position zum Filme schauen oder Lesen.Auch vom Format her passt das Teil locker ins Handgepäck, ohne groß Platz wegzunehmen. Verarbeitung macht einen soliden Eindruck, nichts wirkt wackelig.Insgesamt eine einfache, aber durchdachte Lösung, die den Flug deutlich angenehmer machen kann.

Die Handyhalterung wirkt beim Auspacken solide und macht einen wertigen Eindruck. Die Anleitung ist minimalistisch aber ausreichend, da das Produkt quasi selbsterklärend ist. Im geschlossenen Zustand ist die Halterung relativ kompakt und passt beispielsweise bequem in die Jackentasche.Beim Aufklappen des Halters fällt auf, dass man viele Freiheitsgrade hat, um die Gelenke zu drehen und einzustellen. Dabei rasten die Gelenke an vorgegebenen Stellen und Winkeln ein. Die Abstufung der Winkel ist fein genug, um vielfältige Position zuzulassen. Gleichzeitig sorgt das Einrasten vor allem für Stabilität und einmal eingestellt bleibt der Halte in der gewählten Position. Selbst bei ausführlichem Tippen auf dem Touchscreen des Handys klappt die Halterung nicht weg oder ändert ihre Neigung.Die Halterung ist darauf ausgelegt, an Tischen oder Kanten festgemacht zu werden. Über eine Klammer mit Spannfeder lässt sich die Halterung an Tischplatten festklemmen. Dazu lässt sich die Klammer problemlos bis ca. 2cm öffnen. Laut Anleitung sollte die Halterung auch an Tischplatten mit bis zu 4 cm Dicke passen. Um dies zu erreichen muss man allerdings ordentlich Kraft aufbringen, um die Klammer so weit zu öffnen. Andererseits sorgt die kräftige Feder aber auch dafür, dass die Halterung stabil an der Tischkante sitzt.Die Halterung ist passend für aktuelle Smartphones. Getestet habe ich die Halterung mit einem iPhone XR, einem Pixel 6a und einem Samsung S8, jeweils mit und ohne Schutzhülle an den Geräten. Die Smartphones ließen sich gut montieren und saßen stabil in der Halterung.Nach etwa 4 Wochen in Benutzung haben sich keine gravierenden Schwachpunkte gezeigt und das Produkt liefert ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

I love this little thing. It is great for watching movies on the plane or train. I used it all spring and was very pleased. It folds up nice and small too. A little too small since I am not sure where it is right now.
