This is a very lovely lotion/moisturizer good for a very SPECIFIC purpose/time, and I'll try to break it down to help other buyers decide if it's what they want. The basics: Fragrance: No perfume/citrus/floral/earthy elements, just a very 'clean laundry fresh' lightness. I can still smell it if I hold my hand right underneath my nose but would not worry about other people nearby or in the room detecting it Consistency: True lotion, as in it will slide with gravity. Some of these economical-sized lotions you'd need a pump to get out, but this one I poured into a funnel and gravity pulled it slowly down, and I could make it go faster by tapping the funnel. Perfect for refilling bottles around the house Leaves skin feeling: Soft. Not uber silky, not greasy - it won't give you that luxurious shea butter softness, it's not rich enough for that. Absorbancy: FAST. Within seconds my skin was matte and touchable without leaving streaks on anything else. This is very good for me, but I can understand some reviewers complaining that it 'disappears', which is a factor of the next quality: Moisturizing/thickness: LIGHT. This is where I think this is a very specific body moisturizer that's not for everyone. This is not a body BUTTER, SOUFFLE, or CREAM. It's a LOTION, which means it's as light as it can get. If you have eczema, psoriasis, or would describe your skin as dry, I can definitely see you being dissatisfied with this lotion barrier and would not recommend it for you. If you have normal/oily skin/and or it's humid, and want something counts as moisturizing but won't sit on top of the skin or make you wait minutes before you can put on clothes/touch something, this is a great choice. I have normal skin and wanted something to use as hand lotion right after washing my hands - aka something that absorbs quickly so I can just get back to what I was doing, but also economical bc I wash my hands like 5+ times a day. I can also see myself using this as a body lotion during the summer months but would definitely swap it out for a true body cream. For my purposes of refilling hand lotion bottles around the house for every-day use, this is 100% perfect. It's affordable, smells very light, and absorbs instantly, providing protection without heaviness. For evenings when I want to go to bed with more TLC on my hands, I'd be using a richer hand cream.

Just what I was lookimg for! This lotion is somewhat light but not quite runny, and the unsented smell is a faint, neutral, soap like smell that does not hinder added fragrance. I have dry skin and am intolerant of many ingredients in popular lotions, and I was looking for a lotion to add my own scent and blend of nourishing oils to, and this works perfectly. On its own, it leaves skin soft and smooth feeling. After adding the oils, it blends nicely and spreads easily and evenly, and the slightly thin consistency allows precise control of the amount of oil left on the skin. I especially appreciate the lack of many common irritant/unsafe ingredients!

you need just a little, and it goes a long way. Skin feels great. My picky husband was very happy. I bought the galloon for work, and I will purchase a smaller one for him. I bought the fragrance free.

Generally, it's like any other lotion, but not as thick as expected. It moisturizes my skin and absorbed slowly. However, Michigan winters dries my skin. I use a pump full and stir in a teaspoonful of each, African oil and vitamin E oil. Then, it works on my dry skin. It's not bad for regular skin.

I feel i would not purchase this lotion again. It’s gets the job done but feels watered down

I am a competitive swimmer and swim coach. This stuff is amazing for after shower hydration. The price is unbeatable. I highly recommend for anyone in the chlorinated water as much as me. The light fragrance is perfect and subtle. This is well worth it! I recommended it to my staff too.
