Dryer Heating Element Perfection
My husband works on the road so I had to take my dryer apart and install this piece. I was able to do it and it was the exact part. I was able to install and put my dryer back together and it’s been running ever since! Highly recommend!!!

One small issue
The item arrived early, Easy to install and works great. The only issue is the box arrived with both ends unsecured (no tape applied to seal both ends of the box).

Big easy DIY savings
My dryer stopped drying so I called an appliance repair company and they were going to take 4 days to come out and likely charge me $450 to fix the unit, so I went on YouTube and looked up potential solutions for my model of dryer and saw the fix was probably changing out a burned out heating element. So I bought this one on Amazon after much thought because I didn’t know if the quality would hold up compared to what the appliance repair company would use, or a replacement bought from Sears or an appliance parts supplier ($98 and $65 respectively). I went with the $18 solution from Amazon because for that money, even if it didn’t fix the problem or even if it stops working after 3 months, it was worth a try. I’m happy to say, the dryer is working again after 30 minutes of very easy tinkering and my clothes are drying perfectly. As an added bonus, with the cover off, I took the opportunity to vacuum out the incredible amount of lint that had built up inside the unit, so that’s an added bonus and makes me feel safer. If the element ends up burned out after a short period, I’ll come back and update this review. Quick update, March 19, 2026: the dryer is still drying and I’m still super proud of my DIY efforts to save money with this heating element!! Now if I could only get good at fixing plumbing issues…….
