What can I say? It's a cable, but it fit perfectly and appears to work just fine. Be sure that you properly seat the cable into the battery body (no brainer to seat the cable into the system board). There are some raised ribs on the cable and corresponding grooves in the battery connection to make sure you orient the cable to right way (matches to connectors properly). If you don't, the computer cannot "see" the battery and will protest that tit is not installed.

Works as designed. The connection to the battery will require a little more force to seat, it is part of the design. Loose battery connections and lithium batteries do not mix well!

This provides the connection between battery and motherboard, and has nothing to do battery life. The OEM cable is only good for a couple of battery changes making this cable a necessity. It is a perfect replacement size fit, and function.
