The Crystal Bible 2 Paperback – 21 Aug. 2009

This is a great follow up to the first crystal bible and contains many unusual crystals or specific varieties of crystals not featured in the first book. I really like the alphabetical layout and good index which makes it easy to find details of crystals when you already know their name. It is well illustrated and unknown crystals can be identified by going from page to page. Crystal afficionados will recognise broad crystal family types and have an idea where to look. Judy Hall has produced plenty of new ideas and information and extended the range of crystals and sub types so there is no repetition of book 1 contents.

This book is amazing,everything you need to know about crystals and so much more is in this book definitely my book that I will go to if I need to know about any crystals,The book isn't over sized nor is it to small, so much detail and pictures over all its fantastic!! So much detailI'm so glad I brought this bookIt came super fast and was packed nicely I would definitely order again off the saler, over all I'm very very happy with my book

In really good condition great value for money

Who knew there were so many crystals?!This book gives colour pictures and lots of information about crystals. It is the second book (so ones covered in the first do not reappear here). As expected, it's well-researched and informative.

This is a lovely book with beautiful pictures, which is meant to be a follow on book from the first crystal bible. It has many of the newer mineral discoveries but it dosen't really cover the more well known stones, however, along with the first crystal bible, it makes an excellent addition to any crystal healers liberay, and is well worth buying. As always Judy Hall is very informative about the crystals, although,as mentioned above, to have a fully comprehensive list of stones and their properties you do need both books to cover the more traditional stones as well as the newer minerals that are emerging onto the market. Can't wait for the next bible!

I already own Volume 1 of this book so thought I would follow up with volume 2. Again the book is very well laid out with many beautiful pictures of crystals which I love! My only criticsm of it, which maybe others will not agree with is the majority of the stones in it are either very expensive to buy or very rare. I do understand that the purpose of the book is to cover new and more unsual stones but in the same token what is the point of informing you of the properties of various different crystals if in reality you can't actually get hold of them! well not with my bank balance anyway! but maybe others have managed to get hold them eaauily? please let me know. Anyway this is just my personal opinion and shouldn't put you off buying the book, just giving reason for 4 stars rather than 5.

Love Judy Hall's books. I have three of them and they don't disappoint. Very informative and ideal for anyone seeking concise information with great pictures, not too much writing and to the point, whether you are a beginner (like me) or not. With so many great books out there to purchase on the topic of crystals etc, it can be difficult to choose, especially when you are limited due to funds. I'd buy quite a few if I could.

I bought the first and second 'bibles' together, as my friend had both and I've recently started acquiring crystals. These books contain a wealth of information about crystals and stones, making it easy to identify them. They also provide useful information on how to use different crystals, care for and cleanse them. Definitely good books to have for anyone who collects crystals and needs to know their properties. Highly recommended.
