What an awesome little Blu-ray player. It does it job. This player has no wifi or an ethernet port, which is awesome for its price. The blu- ray verion of Ready Player One looks amazing. This player reminds me of the late 2000's budget dvd players. Awesome budget blu-ray player. Like many reviews has stated, there is no buttons on the player. You will need to rely on the remote which is inadequate and somewhat awkward if you have multiple remotes on your AV system. Unfortunately you will need to source your own HDMI cable since the player does not come with one. Overall great player for those looking for a no frills budget player from a reputable company such as Panasonic.

Works well and is easy to set up and use. The video quality is great. It’s worth the price.

So far so good. Good picture and sound on a 32" TV. The owner's manual is adequate. I may update this when I have more disks again and used it more. It came with firmware v 1.09 and I tried to update it but I got the same error with several different thumb drives. I contacted Panasonic support and the rep escalated it to their engineers. A couple of days later I got an email saying that this model, which has no network port and no WiFi, is newer, and its firmware, version 1.09, is the latest and final version for it.

Simple blu-ray player for a fair price. Win machines will not play blu-rays and I can't find a software package that allows it. I rip all my movies but if we want to watch prior to ripping it is there. Also helpful when ripping TV series since they don't always rip in progressive order

Nice player. A lot smaller than I thought it would be but it works great and was a breeze to set up.

Broken product. After only three months with this product, using only near-pristine discs, the player cannot project the image onto the television. The image is glitchy, freezes, and makes noises similar to TV static. The player had minimal issues for the first few months, occasional glitches only. I was not offered help through Amazon but was directed to Panasonic’s website, which did not have the FAQ that would solve my problem. I suspect this product is in much worse shape than was let on. The return window ended after only one month. I DO NOT recommend purchasing a Panasonic product from Amazon Resale. In the future I will be going directly through the company’s website.

It works for DVDs and blu ray. It also works if you put a hard drive or a flash drive in for MP4 and AVI stuff. It doesn’t work for MKV.

This was a nice little player when I got it, but I really haven't used it much until recently. I bought this one about six months ago, and the audio has cut out. It played Blu Ray as well as home made DVD's but several discs later there is no sound. I tried: Replacing the cord Swapping jacks on the TV Wiggling the jacks Tying a different player ( different player sound works, but Panasonic doesn't) Trying different discs Getting the TV remote out and switching the sound output. This fixed the problem somewhat by playing sound through the TV speakers, but the audio is weak and poor quality this way. I cannot think of any more troubleshooting to do. The Amazon troubleshooting interface does not cover loss of audio. When I go to the Manufacturer website I do not get any useful options. I wish I had purchased a warranty. Update: I got a different player, and the sound did not work on that one either, so I started plugging and unplugging the HDMI jacks, and then I swapped the two jacks on the TV ( I have another player hooked up to the TV). Finally, the sound started working. The moral of this story is to use new cables if possible, and if something doesn't work, then keep unplugging and plugging in the HDMI cables, even after you feel they do not work. This is especially necessary if your TV is a few years old, like mine. My conclusion: Troubleshooting is important, and get a warranty.

Llevo casi un año con él, es el primer blu-ray que he comprado y es bastante bueno. Sí eres de México y ya tienes peliculas DVD orginales puede que algunas no las reproduzca por ser region 4 (en México normalmente las peliculas dvd son region 4 y 1 o solo region 4). En cuanto a los blu-ray no deberia haber ningun inconveniente porque la region "A" es para todo el continente, he comprado muchas peliculas y series en bluray aqui mismo por amazon y todas han funcionado bien. Es bastante pequeño, así que puedes transportarlo facilmente y colocarlo casi en cualquier parte. A veces llega a hacer un poco de ruido cuando estas en el menú de la pelicula, aunque es minimo, una vez que le pones "play" ya no se oye nada. Otra ventaja es el puerto USB que incluye ya que puedes poner un disco externo para reproducir videos, cosa que las pantallas con usb luego no permiten o que solo funciona con memoria USB. Los menus de configuración son bastante intuitivos y como este modelo no incluye conexion a internet no tienes porque preocuparte por actualizar el firmware ni nada de eso. Lo recomiendo sin duda!

Estoy fascinado, este blu ray lee los DVD’s región 1! Me emociona mucho porque tengo una colección de grandes películas que nunca estuvieron en Región 4 y las tuve que comprar así. El aparato es pequeño pero sirve a la perfección.

Remote control doesn't work and this issue still hasn't been resolved.
