My son was originally happy with a unique ball although I agree with the comment about the gold not being as opaque and bright as it shows in the picture. My son received this ball for Christmas. He has used it for practice on a grass field 2x a week, starting the 2nd week of Jan this year, and it has already split at one of the seams, making it more of an oval shape now.
